[ Closed ] X-Life ver 4 for X-Plane 11 (Page 12 of 24)

My frame rates still drop into the 20's and below with this new build and there is lots of stuttering of frames making the sim unusable. When I disable X-Life my FPS immediately returns to 50 and above. I'm running XPlane 11.30 on a PC 4.0 ghz  32 RAM NVidia 970 Newest X-Life version 090219  Not using VR

Same issue on my side.
Without active X Life I have between 40-60 FPS. As soon as I activate X Life the frames go down to 15-20 fps.
- X-Plane 11.32r2 (Beta build)
- X-Life Ver.v.4_090219

- i7-7700 @ 4.6 GHz (OC)
- 32 GB DDR4 RAM
- GTX 1080 (no VR)

And somehow I also expcect sound issues.
I can't hear most of the ATC communication although all volume settings are set to highest option.

About framerate..
If you use Nvidia, you need try to set Off Multithreaded optimisation at Nvidia control panel.

About sound..
Need check is your X-Plane ATC sound work at all, cause X-Life just use default X-Plane text-to-speech function. Sure, ATC volume should be set non-zero

Just encountered another issue while flying from LFMN -> EDDH

As you can see, ATC told me to decent to FL120 when I was ready for decend.
When I contacted Approach, X-Life tells ATC I'm decending to FL40 (whats wrong).

Thats basically true, but if you look into the sequence, you may see, that my first contact to approach already contains FL40,
which I can't know at that point because my last order was FL120 from Center.
So I cannot now about FL40 before contacting Approach.

I mean its no critical issue, I was just wondering about.

Ok, I NEED HELP!

1. the ATC ask for me to uso LIXEP1 SID to leave SBGL using the rw15, but the lixep1 its not for this rw.
2. on other flight, http://prntscr.com/mz90bb, what should i do? even putting manually on radio, nothing happens! so i cannot approach anywhere.
3. if i click on the TOWER icon, the game suddenly crashes.

if i put in another flight plan by simply using the turn off power button i am able to make a new flight plan, but the atc still refers to the starting airport from the trip before, i have not however tried turning it off and then disabled and reenabled via plugins ui, will try that the next time ..

don't know why, but if I try to start X-Life, XP crashes. I also did a fresh install new partition and added one by one plugin....but could not find any other than X-Life causing problem.

Attach x-life.dmp and log.txt not allowed

Downloaded and replaced x-life with the latest update >> same issue.

Installed everything on my new box one by one and the same behaviour at that time x-life is there, Backup of the old XP (updated from 11.25 until 11.32 in all steps) on C Drive, fresh install on D Drive, both with thesame issue. Without loading x-Life everything works great.

I have exactly the same issue and can therefore confirm this is not a "random" event.

I tried 3 consecutive approaches to EHAM and every time the ATC panel slides down off the screen after reporting TOD.

After that X-Life traffic is still around but there is no ATC vectoring/comms anymore and the panel is not recoverable.

I have no solution either I'm afraid. Just able to reproduce your issue.

I am going to try some other approaches to different airports to verify.
