There is no longer a plugin menu. All settings are accessed from the MCDU. This also applies to ground handling when calling service vehicles, etc.

I loaded the A/C again today and couldn't get rid of the pink windscreens. I cant disable the rain effects (suggested in another post) in the A330 menu as it is missing from the plug in menu.

Downloaded last version 3 beta 4 and had a complete flight from LFMN to DTTJ with Tunisair livery (as the line exists in real life).
Great flight from cold and dark to landing and securing the aircraft.
I noticed any problem, except the bird occasionally wanders off the NAV course during cruise.
She also seems floating sometimes in the air from left to right and right to left, as taken by violent turbulences (but there wasn't any turbulences, because the problem stops immediatly when descending). I never noticed such "behaviour" by flying with the 2 version wich is this last stable version of A330.
Except this kind of problem, this bird is really amazing !
May I suggest to implement more pop-up screens if possible ? It should be more greater.

Hello, just flew LSGG / LFBD with beta 4. Nothing to report particular everything went well since dark and cold. The plane is very stable even with wind at 60 knots at 26000 feet. Great work beautiful aircraft and thank you to the JAR team. Keep improving ...

After a while all buttons became inactive ... no possibility to change altitude ,turn off landing lights, to set std pressure ...
and to set a target altitude for starting descent ...
So I stopped X-Plane ...
(on other previous flights this also happened ...

X-Plane has an issue where "focus" is lost while in the flight deck. To fix this, move the cursor to the top of the screen on the menu bar, click the bar with the mouse, and then the flight deck should be active again where your mouse works, i.e. you can manipulate knobs, press buttons, etc. This is a problem with other planes too....just FYI if this is the problem you're experiencing.

As example:
Enter from-to like LFPG/EDDH at Init A page and select R1
Select <REQUEST at next page to generate flightplan
There is a MANY rules to generate plans, this feature use just one of them.
Sure, you may continue to use service like http://rfinder.asalink.net/free/
or prepare plan yourself or use X-Life for this or enter it manually

I made a new complete flight from EDDS to LFML for another testing.
Nothing special to report. Everything worked well during the flight.
Except the same behaviour as reported above (post 230), i.e. the bird occasionally wanks and swings in the air like floating when in cruise. I'm sure it's not a question of turbulence, because the swing and dancing effect is regular from left to right and from right to left, and immediatly stops when descending at T/D.
Nothing else to report but I'd like to know if it occurred to others beta-testers.

1 / impossible to remove the discontinuity located after the airport of departure. Obligation of an SID.
NB: In the V2, it was possible and interesting to make "takeoff-landing loops"
2 / IMPORTANT : the A330 cannot follow the LNAV and VNAV parameters of the MCDU. As a result, the A330 loses AUTO-PILOT, speed, altitude, etc.

1. DISCO just try to show you what you cant flight this path. Your task is not "remove" it, but prepare good flight plan.
2. As I see, there is no SPD constrains for this SID. So, only way - set speed in selected mode for this kind of SID during departure.

Beta 5:
1. (Minor glitch) You have to exit and restart X-Plane to get rid of the Rainshield after first activation. Reloading the aircraft is not good enough. (No big deal though.)
2. When in TOGA and then pulling back throttle to climb, the AP goes wild and sets the ATHR to TOGALK, even above the AF. Only way way is to disengage the ATHR, match the TOGA speed manually and reacttivate ATHR again.
3. At TOD sometimes, tuning in your ILS altitude, and the aircraft starts to decent at 8000 FPM. (Only happens sometimes, so I'm not sure how to reproduce yet, working on it.)
4. Also glitch with refueling, when calling only the Gasoline Truck from GHD no refuel window appear. If calling all things it appears.

Did the same flight, yes SID is needed (LUME6N) otherwise no problems with speed or AP out of Basel.

Video, log, picture? For me they work fine.
Just some reflections, I might be totally off, but it feels like most, including myself, is used to the old version of the A330, which was more basic and now have moved up to a more advanced version and that is not as forgiving to the pilot. This is all good at least in my opinion, but I think it can also be very confusing if you have flown the more forgiving version a long time.
I don't claim that this is a fact, it's more of a reflection on what's going on.
