May be yes, i dont know. Sure, in real you can say wrong request to wrong channel too. I will think.

For this point, that's sure, but for others...

We don't know witch frequency we must call and the buttons don't change frequencies on radio. So, we don't know on witch frequency we are. Perhaps you could too color the active frequency (button).

And in reality, you can have several frequencies for each service. So, ATC must tell us witch Freq we must contact. And you set frequencies on radio.

Trust me, I have viewed and read all of that stuff. I do have airports that work -> so why do some not work even if they are made the same way?? I have a .NET application that I wrote to make airports (see http://forums.x-plane.org/index.php?app … file=27582 -> so every airport I produce is technically the same. I don't consider myself an expert, but I do know a lot about apt.dat, airport layouts,  dsf files etc.

Plus I have also made ATC routes in WED + checked with WT tools. And still X-Life gives problems.

I am happy to assume that I do something wrong, but I need more information what goes wrong.

Sure, need use flightplan menu and prepare/send flightplan to ATC. This is only way how ATC will know about your arrival airport.

Another, what you need - check what you are reach cruize FL, what you are entered to flightplan

If both are Ok - Report TOD should be available.

Hi Romanov

Just create ATC routes for LPMA, but this time after start the x-life plugin I get a message saying that LPMA is not x-life compatible, besides this I have from my 6 gates 3 that are busy, for the moment any movement of aircraft. Do you have any idea why does this occur ?

Updated: Just reloaded the simulator, and now it seems ok, no message at all.
Anyway, got a crash with the last version yesterday after few minutes running the plugin and seeing the aircrafts running in and out.

I just tried X-Life beta 8 for the first time and below (from log.txt) is what I get after starting x-life. I'm on a Mac running 10.11.3 X-Plane 10.45r2.

Hello,
issue when change airport:

launch XP, choose airport with a plane (example for me: LFOP/B757). Traffic on. Airport (LFOP) is not available... So change airport to go on an airport wich XL know. (example LFMN )

X-Life ATIS informations stay on the old airport LFOP. You can make Traffic off and on. You can disable and enable XL... You can generate flight plan again and send it, XL ATIS give you the old airport informations.

So you must restart X-Plane.

Hi !

I'm not sure if you are talking with me, but:

1) there is no bbox(_log).txt in x-life.
2) If you just start x-plane and start x-life traffic, it will crash after a while. Every time.
3) If you do not do anything, just watching the scene (free camera) you will not find any entries
    in the log.txt. Not a single line. So there is NO logfile.
4) At the moment I can't do a complete flight with x-life, because it crashes too fast.

So the best thing I can suggest is:

- start xplane
- start x-life traffic
- next morning you will find a CTD.


I have just updated to x-plane 10.45 release version (out now). Same behaviour. CTD.

I don't use Skype. Sorry but our lines are quite inconsistent with Skype.
My flight plan is:
EDDL SID MODRU Z717 GOBNO UZ717 MAS UM617 SOGRI UL608 DENUT UL610 RAPIX L610 LAM STAR EGLL
CRZ @ FL200 --- I made sure I was cruising at correct altitude
Both airports correct (Aerosoft).
I was flying the FJS Q400

Some users had problem.
Tip:
Make additional code to check presence Openscenery library (\Custom Scenery\OpenSceneryX)
(Check folder if exist)
If not, go to download ( link)

Not working well should not mean: crash.

No, not when I start x-life. It usually takes 20 minutes to 2 hours to crash.

So if it's not crashing on your PC, but on mine this usually means that I have a library or plugin installed
which causes the crash.

As I'm not alone, others have installed additional libraries, too.

I'll make some tests removing libraries, we will see which one causes the crash.

test again and same problem again.
Flight LIRF to LFMN
FP prepared by simbrief
Open x-life, LIRF already set as departure, set LFMN as arrival and alternate
Inser manualy route point and sento to atc
Make manualy the FP for a320jar
Contact atc, atis, ground, p/b,s/e, taxy, line up, take off all perfect
Contact approach, say me climb to fl80, perfect
reach fl080 aproach say to climb to FL280 (my crz altitude) perfect
Stop comunication
I contact center and wait.....TOD distance 35NM-----25NM------10NM-----5NM (no option for comunicat wiht center)---0NM (No option to comunicat)
Shut down X-plane and say lot of bad words smile

Ok, you may get some errors about not working sceneries, but take 2 airports which do not use these
additional libraries.

At the moment I have removed all additional libraries and have x-life running for >6000 seconds,
this is no proof but unusually long :-)

Finaly i've make a flight complete...thanks to Eugey for help via Skype.

My problem was that in flight plan of x-life i used the cruise leve in wrong format, i inserend 28000 but the correct format is 280

I wonder why it shows the forward and backslash together in the folder name?

basically both files are available in E:\X-Plane 10\/Custom Scenery/OpenSceneryX/objects/aircraft/jets/corporate/citation_x
but not in the subfolders "unlit" and "lit".. So I manually copied them there and no further issues in the log.
when I updaten openscenerX on windows.. it deletes the manual copied files.. so I think the x-life plugin should search for a object and a png file in the aircraft folder instead of looking in specific subfolders


also how do I purchase the deluxe version? I cant even demo the atc portion.
