Just crashed X-plane 11 after attempt to choose type of app in LSZH- ILS14
ilankrt wrote:jcdp I really appreciate your patience and relax ! When I read all error messages and complaints in the last time I lose patience very quickly. Even in this case, after the obvious large number of errors that were made, it is obvious that the take-off must gone badly. I also made a short video about the same flight and - oh my... - everything went as usual. But even if you offer videos for training (that means a lot of effort) in the end hardly anyone is interested. It is easier to ask than working yourself up the matter .... https://youtu.be/APoMBzdwoSM
Stay calm and relax ilankrt. You lose patience very quickly because your demo video is wrong.
1 / in the flight plan given by the MCDU from A330 to Waypoint BM the recommended speed is = 250 Kts (see below).
At BM, I'm accelerating to 190 kts because I follow the flight plan of the MCDU of the A330 of Jar Design (look pictures).
------------------------------------------Thanks
2 / in your video the driver at waypoint BM is at 150kts stabilized, it is sure that it will not happen !!! (see capture) And, the video does not respect the flight plan or maybe the flight plan has been changed ... But it is not in the video! Easy (look capture)
Stay calm ilankrt and check your sources.
From what I’m hearing RL Airbus pilots say they would most certainly not take that turn at 250 IAS.
The FMGC goes with recommended at FL but cannot predict the turn g force well. So 190 is not a bad choice for that turn. No pilot flies exactly what’s in the FMS, they need to adjust often, and not only because they are directed by ATC.
I understand and you're right.
now, I change the speed in the 190kts mcdu to be above V2 + 10% and that's OK.
thank you very much

again and sorry to show you perhaps a new problem: sometimes the spoliers do not work.
In this video, I do a flight training "take-off loops" LFPO RWY20 - LFPO ILS06.
You may find that the spoiler lever operates in manual and landing but the spoilers do not come out.
Other theft, they work.
Here is the video : https://drive.google.com/file/d/141BjhN … sp=sharing

Peter (in French)It may not work in replay mode, but check this during flight, please.
Hello everyone
The flight that you can see in video is not a replay of the flight. It's true.
The proof, in the video, look at the traffic of cars on the roads.
In replay, the scene is gone and the cars do not roll.
But Sorcellery !!!
Today, I made a flight "take-off loops" LFPO RWY20 - LFPO ILS06.
At all stages, I pulled out and returned the spoilers every time: OK.
I rebroadcast the landing the spoilers work well in rebroadcasting.
I do not understand !!!
Know that my remarks are not to criticize the A330. I know this plane has personal technical specifications. I am pointing out what I think is malfunctioning and I am trying to understand are behavior (I fly with the 737-800 ZIBO and 767-300 of FF)
Best regards

Test flight LFSB - LFPO : A330 v.B5, X-Life, diverse plugins as usual, real weather conditions.
Everything works perfectly as with v.B4. Speedbrakes deployed at touchdown (I stopped simulation to look outside)
Average of FPS 35 - 45 FPS at 2048 x 1152 27' full screen.
Today I made 3 fly over Europe. First LJLJ to LOWW, then from LOWW to EDDF and then from EDDF to LSZH and everything is going OK. However, due to the well-known bug of X_life I have every time to re-head start x-Plane in its entirety.
Completely agree with the indication of the laohu314 that is necessary that pilot need to adjust speed often, and not only because they are directed by ATC.
Here is my case. When I put required arrival from ATC on MCDU and I saw in plan - look picture
I manualy set speed from computed 250 to 190 the line are close and have perfect landing on EDDF.
So a little joke - why is the pilot in the airplane?
JAR nice work on A330, but please answer the questions on the forum regarding the X-life and JD320, at least tell or you have something in the plan. The buyers of your products deserve it.

I also used to reduce speed at approach manually sometimes because of tailwinds and because of narrow turn before entering the G/S. I never had until now a situation to be forced to regulate manually speed after take-off. AT gives us maximum safety to be in at needed thrust in this critical situation..... (if you want to set yourself speed at take-off you need to make certain calculations as wind, TO weight, flaps, flight angle etc.) to say x speed seems to be good is not correct... BTW During descent and approach you have also to refer to limits....)

Yes that is all thrue, I just wanted the plastic to show that still you can't trust blindly MCDU. To be exact in this case had already been from FL 70 to reduce the speed on the 220, as it is shown on the Jepp map for EDDF.
A little detail that have been a bit confusing, why doe's the flight attendant say "I would like to report about the situation aboard...", what situation? It has been a very nice a comfortable climb... "Passengers are calm...", well why wouldn't they be?!
Hi,
still getting a CTD when chosing Arrival airport EGLL, rwy 27L, No Star. Dump files attached.

AP dissconnect cause of overspeed in Descend / MACH / Hi CRZ FL in beta 5 is aircraft bug. Will fix it.
Speedbrakes issue just fixed for next version.
After I had installed A330_v3.b5 and actived it with my password TP-FWVAPX-TH2CNA-XPU7NN-MUKTEJ then I make a
new start-up. Then all windows in the cockpit are coverd with pink colour.
Can you help me!?
Hi arno.ramrath,
I think you should not have exposed your serial number here, but please contact JAR technical support.
First of all plz finally add mcdu comands...

X Plane 11 crashed on approach RJTT 11000ft, DAIYA STAR, RW23.
V5 used. Also I found it was always over correcting the flight path when in NAV.
Thank you.
So, beta 6 just posted with many bugfix. Need reinstall full aircraft. Thanks a lot for all your reports!
When Climbing out of Amsterdam . EVERYTHING configured correctly. rotate and A-FLOOR and AIrcraft dives for the floor and you can not rescue it . even if you artificially increase altitude using the Map Funciton , Images below @Eugeny

Thank you Eugeny.
Rain window is still present and it's not enough to reload the aircraft. Have to reload X-Plane from start.
I was flying at Cruise where I noticed the plane is not following the flight plane on the Nav display as show in the screen shot
Hi
Or it is the green line which is not at the right place .

Flight plan KMSP RST9 DCT ZZIPR FYTTE4 KORD misses local RST waypoint and points to RST 5486 miles away (a330_1.png)
For arrival at KORD selecting ILS10L and FYTTE4 star each give message red warning (see Log (21).txt)
During flights with high crosswinds autopilot has problems maintaining track, at waypoints on a straight path the aircraft starts to turn into the wind on closing to waypoint and then overshoots with correction back onto path
Previous flight had CTD, Log (21).txt, no fmgs.dmp
Many thanks Jar again for your beta's
Beta 6:
I cannot seem to the the "Overfly" OVFY to work. It does nothing.
I think it works that way: I press OVFY, the triangle appears in the scratchpad, then I select the waypoint where I want to apply the OVFY
Or do I do it wrong?
OVFY just does nothing here

Some notes, GHD is better working from main menu instead of the MCDU, X-Life gives very wrong QNH values.
I´m not totally sure but I think the TCAS don´t work.
