Topic: X-Life ver 2.1 R1

Some details for new feature v2.1:
- every time when you start traffic (I mean Deluxe version), your x-life plugin will send a request to the internet and "ask" to renew schedule info for your selected Arrival and Departure airports.
- this request executed on our server side and after this, actual schedule data come to our server from real-life data schedule provider.
- next - this data (sorted from actual ZULU time) come from our server to plugin
- so, your X-Life plugin have real schedule for actual ZULU time inside now
- next step - your X-Life plugin use real scheduler with this way:
> if aircraft library (Bluebell) have needed (exist in schedule) Aircraft/Livery for next flight number we will see it in traffic (for next generated slot) with actual Aircraft/Livery/ArrivalAirport/FlightNumber
> if aircraft library not have Aircraft/Livery for real flight, plugin will try to generate flight with Aircraft/Livery what exist for this airport in real schedule
> if no lack (like we mean most of GA flights) - autogeneration will use.
So, in most of big airports we will get a flights with real Aircraft/Livery/Arrival-Departure/FlightNumber flights and this is some improvement i think.

Installation:

If you use ver.2.X, you need update .xpl files only (attached)

If you use ver.1.X, you need delete old and install new FULL plugin from ZIP, please not mix any

1. Be sure what you use OSX 10.9-10.12 or Windows 7-8-10 and X-Plane 64 bit 10.42+ or X-Plane 11 64 bit.

2. Be sure what you have at least one of static library installed -
OpenSceneryX. If not, you can install it for free opensceneryx.com

3. Copy “X-Life” folder to your ../X-PLANE 10/Resources/plugins/ folder

4. If you prefer use HD “Bluebell XL” traffic AI library, please download 3 files from
http://jardesign.org/downloads/BBXL/BBXL-1.zip
http://jardesign.org/downloads/BBXL/BBXL-2.zip
http://jardesign.org/downloads/BBXL/BBXL-3.zip

Next unZIP and put “Bluebell XL” folder to ../X-PLANE 10/Custom Data/ folder
and install folders “PackA”, “PackB”, “PackG”, “PackJ”, “PackP” to
../X-PLANE 10/Custom Data/Bluebell XL/ folder

UPDATE YOU NAV DATA WITH FRESH CYCLE (if needed)
X-Life use NavData (old) cycle by Aerosoft from own /navdata/ subfolder
or from ../X-PLANE/Custom Data/GNS430/navdata/ folder if exist

If you need update your cycle, please use Aerosoft/Navigraph
- “JARDesign a320/330 Native format” or (the same in fact)
and put new cycle to ../X-PLANE/Custom Data/GNS430/navdata/ folder

Not working for me, When I turn on X-life, sim runs out of memory, only with this new version, It was working fine until then.

I've Reinstalled, and set lowest settings, but still crashes.

Hi,
im using X-Life Deluxe for a few months now. With this new release I have a huge impact on fps after starting X-Life Traffic, like a slideshow for 1 to 2 minutes. After a minute or so it stabilizes a little but there are still sudden fps drops to about 10 - 15 fps for many seconds (with prev version I had constant 30fps). Can not think about flying adequate. Internal fps counter shows a huge impact in cpu render time.

It doesn't crash in my case so I have no .log file for you. Newest XP11 version. With every Aircraft I own it's unstable for me.

As I read in some topics, I am not the only one with this problem.

I like your work and future plans so I stay tuned for the next updates. I think I should temporarily switch to old version.

I used jardesign_a320neo_native_1713.zip and extracted NavData into ...X-Plane 11\Custom Data\GNS430\ folder
Why? What I did wrong?
Replacing of ...X-Plane 11\Resources\plugins\X-Life\navdata makes X-Life stuck and kickout from the game.
Please help.

That may be wrong installation/folder or wrong NavData format. No more reason exist.

Did you try to set X-Life settings to minimum for start?

I reinstalled X-life 2.1 , restarted the computer, reintroduced identification key and ...
everything works fine now .

New version 2.1r runs very well for me flight from CYVR to KLAX no issues so far and very smooth. No problem with frame rates was getting 35 to 45 at CYVR, 54 airborne 35 to 45 at KLAX. Same as the previous 2.7b version. Thanks JAR for your efforts! Much improved over the last few years.

If you accidentally hit "request follow-me car" and you don't have that addon all ATC requests stop. I clicked it by accident and I was no longer able to say I was approaching holding short. Hopefully there can be some kind of catch for this, as I don't have the follow-car addon!

I am new to XP and therefore new to X Life as well. I am asking if the new payware version will add ai to ALL airports or do we still have to rely on JAR and users to create XLF files?

I use your last version, this update does work but I have not traffic, one or two planes and after nothing more on x-life radar, it's the same problem if I stay on taxiway. I have x-life Deluxe and New York airports ... On setting tool, traffic AI is at 70%

I set the correct QNH. When I click "readback" there is still the wrong QNH written and in result I got a wrong QNH message.
