Topic: A350 set

Hi,
today I made a set for the A350.
A couple of important notes:
- The set file has no name, because the "description" field in planemaker is empty. I recommend you enter "A350" in the description field in planemaker. To do so, open the A350 in planemaker and go to standard -> viewpoint -> description field. After you entered a description, name the set file exactly the same. If you called the A350 in planemaker "A350", then your set file must be "A350.set".
- To load the A350 with passengers and cargo, one must call the luggage loader, the stairs and the bus of the A350 build in ground service. If you don't want to use both ground service vehicles, you can select the option "plane at gate". That way you don't have to call the stairs and the bus. Only the luggage loader is required in this case. To load fuel, you still have to call the build in fuel truck.
I'm working on getting the datarefs, so one can use the ground service plug in without the A350 build in plug in. I keep you updated.

Re: A350 set

Yes, the reason - a350 autors stay identification field both empty smile
So - empty name as result.

Re: A350 set

Thanks for your fast reply. So what should I do?
a. Name it A350, so everyone who wants to use this set has to name the plane A350 in planemaker, or
b. leave it as it is, without name

I just talk with Ramzess. He say - for next version - identificator will be.

Re: A350 set

Perfect,
I just found the next Problem, also with flight factor. All Boeing 757 are called B752, even the freighter or the B753. So it's not possible to make a set for the B753 without changing the name.

Re: A350 set

Hi!  Is anyone having a problem using the Ground Handling plugin with the Flight Factor A350 when connected to ground power?  This set is great (and I fixed the naming problem referenced above), but for some reason when I connect the aircraft to ground power all of the Ground Handling vehicles disappear.

Thanks!

P.S. Jusku, that would be so cool if you could edit the datarefs to be able to use Ground Handling vehicles for loading fuel/passengers in place of the aircraft's default vehicles.  I wouldn't even know how to start figuring that out!

Re: A350 set

Yes, switching on APU or ground power the Ground handlng equipment disappears.
Maybe an A350 dataref meets the Ground handling dataref like disabling brakes to have this result.

Already adressed this bug, but no reply.

Re: A350 set

Ah.  I saw your post about the dataref bug, but didn't realize that was related to this issue with the A350.  Thanks for trying to get it fixed!

Re: A350 set

Hello,

I have not the option in planemaker 10.42 gives a solution?

Re: A350 set

Ah, with xplane 10.42 it seems it has changed. Ok, go to standard -> author (Verfasser) -> and put A350 in the description and ICAO code field. Then rename the downloaded set file to A350, exact the same as you entered in planemaker!

Re: A350 set

This does not work when changing Description and ICAO to A350. Still nothing shows, I have A350.set in the planes folder. All other aircraft work.

Re: A350 set

Thanks for this set. I wonder why FF still hasn't changed ICAO of their product. Well fast edit in plane maker and this set works like charm. Of course it is quite shame that you have to still use default stairs, luggage loaders etc to get plane actually loaded but I just do it quickly first and then put this set and it looks good even it is little bit hazzle smile
