The problem is BSS use some datarefs in their config files wich not exist yet in XP11.
So...

Open folder: BSS/custom/cockpit

edit the sound.cfg with a text editor
On first line,

Replace with: mastervolume_name=COCKPIT

BSS/custom/engines
Replace with: mastervolume_name=ENGINE

Others folders are good.

Now you can copy custom folder in: 330_JARDesign v2.0b3\plugins\sound3d\

You will have all the faders in sound menu for set the a330
Adjust volume like you want

Thank you for the fix. Works.
Should not have to change the sound config file, is there a fix in the A330.
Sound configurations and adjustment parameters are missing or all wrong. hope there is a better solution in the future.

Works great! Thanks again..oh, one thing. When I look up (at the overhead) or down (at radios, etc), the sounds are more apparent. When looking straight ahead, hardly any engine sounds. Is there a way to change this behavior while in the Captains seat? I notice this happens in ALL planes and I have no idea why.

As far as the new beta 330 is concerned, did a short flight around LFMN and had no problems (except below) and the diamonds mentioned earlier were operating well.
--------> OH! One thing. Tried the push-back truck and it just circled and circled.  I'll attach my log if that helps smile

normal that your plane not capture ils target (loc and glide slop) !!
It's not a bug

Sloboda say you "G/S is captured if APP is active and Approach Phase activate in FMS Perf Page"

I add: you must have "speed nav and alt managed by fms" to perfom automatic ils landing...

I will try to put image from me soon.

I did not want to do an automatic ILS landing. I did not expect that the plane does anything automatic.

I want to do a full manual landing, but just want to switch on the G/S diamonds for a little bit help.
So I just tuned in ILS frequency in nav1 and switched on LD.

The expectation was that the diamonds show the correct flight path. Only one of them worked as expected. The other was displayed, but did not move.

(ok, switched on A/THR and AP1 to make some screenshots :-) )

good evening, little, issue with beta 3 at my system xp11 beta 6 and now 7, after replaymode, the engines went on full power and didnt go to idle. I could only help me with cut off, to stop the engines.

We get XP11 beta 7&8 today and I just update a330 to pb4 with a number of fixes. Sadly LR nor fix ISL/GS diamond indication. Sure, I calculate horizontal diamond DOT myself, but cant do the same for G/S diamond (no datarefs exist for this). I always send report to LR and skype to Ben personality about this. Whe thiplem is - no ILS/GS native DOT indication while acf follow NAV path.

I found this issue with the engine fan blades they are transparent as seen in the pictures

Test flight EDDM/EDDT XP11 b6 and A330 last version (not the new one from today 21.Jan)
Using: iMac27 El Capitan. SkyMaxxPro 4.1,  RWC 1.1. X-Life 1.1 r6 and GHD last version.

flight 1 crash
(I think the cause was after I clicked in the ATC window on "Readback" button twice that cause a jump to the over next procedure !) see log.txt and debug file

Flight 2 everything was functioning well like my flights with XP10.5.
But the reaction of mouse and clicking on FMC has a remark delay! It may be a result of the very low FPS
(XP10.50 average  28 FPS  and XP11 12 FPS)

To JAR: please write in the info frame of every new version  or in the folder name  its number (like 330_JARDesign b2...... I am getting every time confused.
Generally spoken, is it not better to wait until XP developers will finally offer a stable version instead of running after the bugs and constantly make corrections? (that I say after we reached a perfect A330 version without bugs under XP10.51)

I had also problem using the BSS ad-on (JAR A330 BSS TRENT 700 Main Pack ver. 2-2.01) . I downloaded it for new and will try after new installation how it works. (The advice for installation is also very confusing..)

And to all those hyper fans of XP11 I must say that I do't understand this enthusiasm !  OK the sky line of cities are now very realistic but after landing in Berlin in a "haze" scenery I was glad to recognize the runway on the last 300ft !
I made a comparison between XS10.50 and XP11 flying over Norway fjords. Guess who was the clear winner!

Mostly disappointed I am about the graphic engine. I can have 6 cores for drawing sceneries but XP11 uses only one of them, so I am stuck helpless with my new iMac27...

Using XP11 b8 and A330 v2b4 I noticed that climb/crz/desc   profile has disapeared when trying to get it on screen .

In flight plan generated with x-life there is no more altitude ...(could be the reason ...)

Hi, heres one bug on beta 4 with xp beta 8. It wasnt on beta 7.

After engine start and cooling down the apu, the right engine began, to have more rpm than the left engine. When I switched on the apu again, the right engine goes to the rpm of the left engine. On airborne, when I stopped the apu, theres no issue. only on ground.

Hey there!

I have the same problem as "Pic" stated before. When i look straight ahead in the cockpit i cant hear the engines at all.
When i look somewhere else they are much more apparent. Does anybody have a solution for this?

Also i have the bug with one engine having a higher rpm than the other one. Not always but often and it seems to change side from time to time when i start a new flight.
