Re: X-Life ver 1.0 (rc1, r1, ++)
Good day,
Well I was not expecting a CTD Flight from KATL/KPHX
just about 500NM to go and I was looking away from the computer when this happened so,
my fault for looking away...

As I wrote before, I made a second test flight LICC - LGAV, this time with the latest XL version.
No crash but their are some occurrences you can look at on my video I made.
It is my third record since the first beta version ( it is made especially for potential user) :

Good day,
yes that's when XP crashes when you look away.. LOL

Good day,
running new version now KSFO/KRIC

The flight was completed and there were no noticeable issues now I will try another aircraft that i have not tried in a while .

LGAV: There is absolute no matching between Airport taxi ways and XL traffic!! (I don't know whose fault it is..)
This airport must be reworking soon! (because it is on the airport map). See images
LTAI: Very good designed airport. great traffic, correct taxi ways and FM brought me finally to terminal parking lot!
ILS APPR was correct although STAR contained a too sharp curve that throw aircraft out of ILS path (had to land manually)
Also: United AI aircraft looks like an U-Boot, see last image
I've seen "partially" rendered aircraft as well. I was attributing that to my low resolution settings but maybe that's not the reason?

Good day,
so I went out of the box and tried the MD-80 since, it's everyone's favorite besides the JAR aircraft and the flight was just finishing up and a CTD this again not expected since, all was good and the final approach was coming up.
this as the MD-80 V1.1

I think it is the OSX model to reduce the arc to save the computer resource if the model is far from the camera.

Not sure how is it related to OSX (if OSX stays for Apple's computers operation system), anyway you are true about relation of model distance to camera and level of detail of that model. Commonly called as LOD in games (Level Of Detail), it is needed for large open areas and outdoor games optimization (one model actualy consist of several models with different levels of detail, in this case from "u-boot" to "B747". Game engine itself decides what model to load and show us on screen based on distance between player/camera and that model.

Please be sure what you have LGAV exactly the same what via Link on the MAP. I mean Scenery.
I've seen "partially" rendered aircraft as well. I was attributing that to my low resolution settings but maybe that's not the reason?
Reason = some OpenSceneryX library objects use "LOD"s. This option decrease details when you far from object.
JAR,
maybe you are right and it is not the approved LGAV scenery.
I will check it as soon as I return from a week (real) flight over north Greece.....

Thank you, I thought it had something to do with resolution. My meager MacBook doesn't allow me decent settings.

Not the mac OSX, the open scenery X OSX.

Thank-you for getting rid the roomer mill. The open GL also, has rules and it tells the computer how to draw the detail of the game also, along with the math of the binary system we all forget about that makes up the computer systems with out the binary system the computer would not work so, the constraints of the different levels of computer code have to work together in order for the graphics to work.
Hi,

Hi,
flying from LOWS to LZIB with new IXEG 737 (test flight) -> CTD on approach
need check LZIB, may be it is not X-Life compatible.
Good day.
CTD
LOWW - LIRF, A330, X-Life 1.1b4.
X-Plane locked up leaving a pale green screen. This happened before the flight from EDDH to ENGM could be initiated. Both of these airports are from the approved designers. I could not find a X-Life.dmp file. I am using X-Life 1.1b4.
CTD at KBOS after having a few successful flights from KBOS to KEWR
Watching traffic at KBOS:
A B737 was waiting on the runway for another B737 and forced a CitationX to take off through it.
Question: Why did the CitationX not have to wait for any of the B737s?
CTD while flying from ENGM to ESSA. Both airports are by the approved designers. Log.txt and X-Life.dmp files are attached.

Good day,
just one of the issues that is going to have to be worked on and it takes time because, it is part of the math of the computer.
