As soon as we post release candidate, we should say what all planned functions for version 1 are done. All we need - make XL stable with current set of functions. Parallel I work on ver 1.1 but too earlier to say any exact about it. Please post all your useful notes right here. I am dont know date of 1.0 release (as usual) - will see, will see.

All principles remain the same - please post you ideas for improvements, post what you like/unlike? post your log.txt + x-life.dmp if Crash happen.

If you prefer use “Bluebell XL” traffic AI library (need at least vet 1.1 beta 6, 7, 8), please download 3 files from

Next unZIP and put “Bluebell XL” folder to ../X-PLANE 10/Custom Data/ folder
and install folders “PackA”, “PackB”, “PackG”, “PackJ”, “PackP” to
../X-PLANE 10/Custom Data/Bluebell XL/ folder

but what means exactly gate, stand, cargo, hangar - what are programmatically differences in x-life

Is there a difference between "normal" aircrafts and cargo aircrafts in x-life?
Would cargos only stand on cargo stands? Or is there no difference

Cargo not use for traffic this time, but i plan use it in future.

The problem what you just rename it to Custom Scenery/LIB OpenSceneryX/

Need original name, sure.

Hi Eugeny,
I am back on the map! disconnected Saitek throttle, started X-Plane. then connected throttle and made a new calibration.
Started X-Plane for new and X-Life rc1 and engines run normally !

I made a test flight EETN - ENGM. NO CRASH
ENGM: ATC calling for FollowMe car didn't work. On the map I saw the car on other airport end. Calling via "on map" works.

BTW, Strangely enough, I didn't recognized any change or new functions.... (maybe because it was late at night..)

Very good plugin, I think the planes take off at too low range (~ 15 seconds).

Tried the RC1. Really not bad. But:

• is it the plugin, or me, at LSZH and LFPO I was waiting for 12mins. for DEP on HP, because of a landing aircraft in 25km distance! Waste of time and fuel Our boss at SWISS would kill all the controllers

can you try different settings (in X-Life settings) in the timing of runway time as 1 and 1/2 mins this is the setting I use and if you take to long at the gate starting things it can effect the timing so I would try some more of the same route and with different settings also do a back route to get the computer use to the route.

some of this is trial and error and only you can do the testing on your computer because of the specks on the computer build.
i hope this helps you to understand the nature of how this plugin works its tuned to your computer...

EGLL to EIDW. Went perfect until I was on final. I got a traffic warning which was showing just above me on the display. However, I couldn't see anything with exterior view. Seemed to be a phantom plane. Got a GA even though there was nothing there.

did you turn on the Aircraft show button that displays the position on all aircraft in X-Life, and for the aircraft in the air sometime it will just display a little black dot until it is finished loading. This might take a few mins. to populate.

Ps, yes I do see a white marker on you FD ... so it look's to be behind you and should not have been an issue ... and what did the radar reading give you as far as position ?

It was originally showing in front of me, then just above/below me and then behind. I didn't turn on the XL radar. I will think of that if it happens again. This is real UFO stuff!

Is it possible to highlight active tab (ATIS, GROUND, TOWER, etc) and show frequency on ATC panel? And may be hide dialogue from inactive tab (freq), as it is done with ATIS tab?

From now on we are flying with traffic around us. You have to use the radar screen, first to see the other aircraft around you and second while descending to calculate distance to other aircrafts that are in front of you descending to the same RWY.

On my flight today I saw on radar a small aircraft on the other side of the runway also on landing course just before I got ATC warning "abort landing". The small aircraft is seen on my ND but you can't know at what level and if it intends to land... . It seems you were in the same situation....

I think that the ATC panel is working well. You get frequencies when you are asked to change from APPR to TOWER to GROUND etc.

Just finished successfully a test flight from ENGM to ESSA.
In both sceneries traffic frequencies are working perfect without "logical failures".

ATC FollowMe car appears as it should.

Got a lot of air traffic around airports - that is real X-Life!

I had to abort landing and fly a GA. Is it possible in the future to program ATC giving vector(s) to catch again ILS ?
On ND of the A330 I can see the ILS approach fix but not on FMC waypoints ???

Yes, it is a good ideal for ATC to give Vector(s) to catch ILS on any aircraft in X-Life for a GA ...
I did a GA and got lost after I got vectored off for a GA and had to go to external view to get my bearings ...

Had a similar problem. I used the local map view to fly a back leg, turn and line up manually. It's OK if the weather is good. With yesterday's high winds I crashed
