Hello,
i would like to say than you for X-life, i am planning to get full version soon (not for features but simply for paying for something such beautiful like X-life is), but so far i have few questions or notices (well, they are partly suggestions too ). I hope you don't mind, i try to present them as much humble as i can:
1) twy holding points - is it possible, in future versions, to have something like twy node/point naming convention for holding points? Like "any point on twy which has suffix _HOLD will be used as holding point" (or so).
2) ground traffic vs air traffic - i also noticed a lot of go arounds, probably when aicraft is on approach, but not yet on final short? Simply you can see approaching aircraft, but ground traffic simply takes over and taxi to rwy, which makes that approaching aircraft to go around.
3) rwy incursions - addinng some time delay between state "AI aircraft took off" and "rwy is clear for use" would be nice in future. If there is a row of aircraft holding to take off it is almost like company of aircrafts is taking off. As soon as first aircraft goes airborne few feets above ground next aircraft in row will immediately take off. Also in case of aiport design where is twy crossing rwy this makes odd situations like aicraft A is holding until aircraft B takes off and then A crosses the runway literally few tens of feets under taking off aircraft B.
4) confused/freezing aircrafts - from time to time some AI aircraft gets pushbacked, then stops, turns its light off and sits there ... waiting for its sudden resurrection and then confusingly taxiing all around the aiport to rwy. I am trying to keep low points count as possible and not so much close on intersections etc.
5) some of aircraft have glued some small, usually GA, to its nosewheel, but only when flying. I call them "pushback GA" , because they feel like they are there where pushback tug usually is, well, when on ground . But those "pushback GA" disappear when aircraft are on short final, like few tens of feets above ground or so. Not sure if it could be collision with some of object libraries? I am using OpenSceneryX, ff-library, R2 library, ru-scenery, world-models.
