i installed the last x-life plugin. In this version, i am missing the side menu where i can show the map with the other aircrafts or the other menue points.
Or it is only hiding?

Second Test Flight UMMS - UUEE, A330 XL v.09.3 on iMac
Again no crash

This time I captured the flight and I will publish soon a video on my blog.

UUEE: there is one ATC failure advising landing on 7L instead of 06L (according to Navigraph charts from 12.2015).

I don't know if log.txt of a successful flight should be attached? ...

Flying from LOWI to LIMC via LIPZ (short stop) -> CTD -> see logs

one small bug: in LIPZ - ATIS and ATC datas are from INNSBRUCK (LOWI) and NOT from LIPZ (Venice)

I believe if you go to the xplane plugin pull down menu and click on x-life you'll get a sub menu to show you the option to choose deluxe, then you should be ready to go, if you have the deluxe that is.

Don't think, that this causes problems - if this would be the case, X-Life would have a bug, because there are some more languages in XPL than English

After the removal, EDDM worked fine. Thanks! Don't know, why I still had this in plugins, removed also other old corpses.

So, will report more on other airports., traffics, and so on.

I would like to understand this renewal .

Concerning runways it may help in two particular cases:
1. selection of ILS runways at simulation begin, to avoid false APPR advice to land on GNSS RWY etc.
2. avoid airliner landing on too short runways.

This means preparation work before simulation, reading charts ....

Concerning gates how may it work? As I open X-Plane at airport XXXX, my aircraft model is places in a pre-selected
parking place. Now if I choose with XL other parking excluding the momentan parking, what happens?

Does XL install my aircraft for new automatically on one of my chosen parking?
Or is it only a pre-instalation for the next time I use this airport?

OK, short trip from KDFW to KSFO

Good news:

• no more CTD

Things I would like to see to improve:

• TOD has to be come from ATC, not by me (or let's say both)
• takeover from center to next center
• I had in a radius of 100km only two planes, mostly behind me, and overtime the same (one Northwest, one LaudaAir), nothing else during flight (settings: traffic density 100%, stands busy 40%, runway operation 2min)
• possibilty to make FL-changes with permission from ATC
• and again: don't let me cross runways without short holdings. At KDFW I had to cross 17R/35L and 17C/35C, no ATC yelled at me, what the hell I'm doing
• and VFR routing

Oh, one more thing:

routing was (on actual METAR): KDFW SID TXO J72 BLD J86 FUZZY J110 CZQ STAR KSFO

And ATC wants to give me BDEGA2 as STAR. Impossible! If CZQ is last waypoint, I have to fly STAR CZQ.LOCKE1

I notice also that there are several attempts to load an aircraft which fail. I wonder what I can do to stop this? This happens often.

What I'm wondering about, or let's better say thinking about: you have some good fellows here. Why not building some teams? One is doing the airports, the next one goes on ATC, on one team coding, or so? I think, for one man alone, it's a big To-Do-List.
I see a lot of people working on airports, but not really as much feedback's on routing, procedures, and so on.

As I said, maybe team building could help. I'm not programmer, just User And yes, I've got CPL, MPL, and TR on A320, A330, B757 and since December B777. Doing it as FO.

Your log remains me about similarity to my crashes in the past.
I de-installed SkyMaxxPro3 and the problems disappeared.

I think that our keep on going test flights are a important help for JAR as developer. Personally I would not like to see
this development also in our (Other) hands, because it is not institutionalized and steady. We need professional development
for the long term perspective, so that XL can grow to main plugin for X-Plane. And once established it will probably be a payware.
(At the end it is a developer business)

As you are I am also exciting and impatient to see X-Plane becoming through XL alive and I have same expectations. If some of us can do more then test flights (programing etc.) I think that JAR will be thankful for.
