Version of a330 for X-Plane 11.

Main improvement - new FMGS, based on C++ (instead of SASL & basic X-Plane FMS)

r1 new features:
+ compatible with GHDeluxe v.040118
+ new MCDU MENU functions (you can operate with Ground Handling, Doors, Loading, Tow)
+ operate settings via MCDU MENU
+ separate Ground Handling operation (MCDU MENU -> Handling, next - select neeeded cars and click Drive Up)
+ MCDU movable widget (click on 3D MCDU or use Command jd/fmgs/CommandShowMcdu)
+ ND non-movable widget (click on ND)
+ Save coRoute flightplan using MCDU DATA -> Click right Arrow -> Pilots ROUTES, enter name and click SAVE
+ takeoff with heading preset
+ ND && MCDU indication and functions reworked
+ follow Speed Constraints
+ add instant flightplan generator

r2 improvements:
+ distance calculation fixed
+ fuel calculation fixed
+ 3th part plugins conflict ("no sound" issue fixed)
+ CTD after speed enter at CRZ PERF page fixed
+ some kinds of CTD fixed
+ taxilights issue fixed

r3 improvements:
+ improve SID/STAR drawing
+ some kinds of CTD fixed

r4 improvements:
+ Transatlantic CO-Routes reading fixed
+ some navdata Waypoints reading fixed
+ orange squares on rain window fixed
+ after Hold Leg crash fixed
+ lateral deviation from path line fixed

r5 improvements:
+ VATSIM/IVAO ND traffic indication fixed
+ some kind of CTD fixed

!!! no X-Plane plugins/330/ menu exist more, please set command jd/fmgs/CommandShowMcdu for some keyboard key and use MCDU MENU to operate ground handling.

HOW TO INSTALL / UPDATE:

Please not mix files with other version.
Download link v3r5: http://jardesign.org/a330/download/inst … 30XP11.zip

Please install new version of Ground Handling to be well-compatible with XP11
Download link: http://jardesign.org/gndserv/download/GHD.zip

  - be sure, that you use X-Plane 11.01-11.11
  - copy unziped "JD330XP11" folder to ..\X-Plane 10\Aircraft\ folder
    (be sure, what you are not use nonEnglish symbols in aircraft installation path)
  - please visit download more fresh version of Ground Handling plugin. It work with JARDesign 330 without registration (for free). Please note what “Deluxe” version of this plugin (may work with other aircrafts) is payware.
  - start X-Plane 64 bit and open a330, activation window is going to show up
  - enter your serial key (use exist serial from "JD330 for X-Plane 11"), click NEXT and after a successful activation reopen aircraft via X-Plane menu
  - activation works well with both MAC/WIN 64 bit

If activation window not appear, there is 3 reasons may be for this -
- Check what you use computer under Admin mode.
- You use Windows 7 or 8 or 10. In this case, please install "Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable 2010" pack http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download … x?id=14632 , and also install more fresh JAVA.

UPDATE YOU NAV DATA WITH FRESH CYCLE (if needed)
a330 use NavData from
../X-PLANE 11/Custom Data/GNS430/navdata/ folder
if not find there – will try to read it from
../X-PLANE 11/Aircraft/330_JARDesign/_navdata/
If you need update your cycle, please use Aerosoft/Navigraph
- “JARDesign a320/330 Native format” or (the same in fact)
- “XPLANE_GNS430_777WORLDLINER_FF757PROF_NATIVE”
and put new cycle to ..X-PLANE 10/Custom Data/navdata/ folder

- you may post you opinion about this version, post what you like/unlike
- please post your log.txt + x-life.dmp if Crash happen and you are on Windows.

Thank you for the announcement of an A340, you saved my day smile
As you constantly improve FMGS, will it be possible to change the STAR or better its desired RWY afterwards while executing the STAR? Because e.g. EDDF (Frankfurt/Main) charts advise pilots to first choose the STAR and then the RWY, because 07R and 07L are cleared independently and quite often you have a RWY change.

EDIT: to avoid double posting, I include it into this post: there are three folders instead of the normal two in the root/main folder called JD330_v3.
_MACOSX (okay, right one two enable Mac support), JD330_v3 (date of last change is 24. Feb 2018) and the newer JD330XP11 (02. Mar).

Please upload a newer version where the JD330_v3-folder which doubles the size to about 1 gigabyte is removed, because AFAIK it's unneccesarry and accidentally in here. See screenshot

So, after a few helpful tips from Mr. Romanov himself, for witch I thank him, I found out this aircraft doesn't go well with xEnviro, meaning, interior and external engine sounds won't be heard (except for pilot, flight attendent voices and clicking sounds) and "Sound3D" disapears from the plugins menu.
If I turn off xEnviro before loading XP, everything is heard properly and "Sound3D" is enabled
Anyone, running xEnviro, has the same issues?

I downloaded the JD330_v3 file now, I did not find the _NavData folder.

EDIT:
Oops, in beta 5 it also did not have the folder.

A LOT of users usually delete _NavData folder with default navdata for some reason and contact support why aircraft not work. So we decide just move default navdata more deep inside.

Flying now from EHAM - KJFK. Some notes: It feels a bit sluggish when taxiing, have to add a lot of thrust before it moves. And also still would wish for support for Scroll Wheel, it's terrible to work all the knobs, switches with LB + Drag.

Otherwise great work!

Yesterday  2 hours flight without any problems.  With a 113 knots of lateral wind the plane maintained the flight path!

One suggestion. Its would be a lot of work to add the possibility of show the mcdu in an android device? Like AirFMC?

R2 what we work on will fix:
- flightplan distance calculation issue
- fuel calculation issue
- "lost sound" issue cause of 3th part plugins conflicts
- crash fixes based on your dump files reported here/su[port/email/skype

Loaded A330v3r1 into XP 11.11 opened it up in XP, then loaded the BSS sounds and a BA livery, no problems. Not tried a flight yet.

I'm running XP 11.11 and XP 11.20vr6 on the same computer, running 11.20vr6 as a try out. I'm not using VR just a single screen

When I tried to load the A330v3r1 into 11.20vr6 XP crashed. Tried several time with the same result, I even tried copying the set up version from XP 11.11, which worked, and it still crashed.

I will set up a support ticket and attach a Log.txt, not sure how to do it on this forum.

I made a few flights witout any trouble .
Thanks for this nice version of your A330 .

As now approaches are more and more RNAV approaches would it be possible to have on ND (upper right corner) distance to the next waypoint (or RNAV point) with 3 digits (xx.x) instead of 2 .
We can't fly RNAV approach currently because we can't know when exactly starting final glide ...

As an exemple RW24 RNAV approach  (see attached chart) on LFPO Airport final glide starts at 8.4 Nm from RW .
How can we see 8.4  we have only 9 (too early) or 8 (too late) .
Even on small X-Plane aircrafts this possibility exists ...

Could you please implement this in a future (near?) update ?

There is a gap if you look from the sides

On my way from essa to vidp right now, and so far no problems!
