JAR here's a picture of what my problem is. If I try to generate a flight plan from UNVERIFIED airport KDCA the message says Dep airport not X-Life compatible. So therefore no flight plan can be generated. Is there any solution to this? I think you should be able to generate a flight plan to and from any airport. Thanks

Traffic seems to be working, but I can not figure out this flight plan error. If I hit "Generate Flight Plan" it gives me some convoluted, unrealistic plan.

Having similar issue need help.

Just upgraded to the 2.0.R2 (can't find the R3).

Usually use Simbrief to create my flight plan. Had no issues on previous version of XLife.
Here is a plan from SimBreif
KLAX/25R LAXX9 MZB KSAN/27

I use to be able to enter the plan into Xlife letter per letter, number per number and it worked great.  DCT was not necessary.

But on the new version of XLife, I keep getting "SID error or check your NAV version and make sure it is the same on FMS, Life, ect."

I did, everything including XLife is running 1708

Tried several other flight plans generated from SimBrief and Skyvector. Included DCT, mirrored "SID" "STAR" instead of the sid name/star name. Nothing seems to work.

Tried on CRJ200, and IXEG 737.

As fafafooey stated, one can generate a flight plan in XLife but it is convoluted and it doesn't explain why a manual plan is not being excepted.

Running all of this on a Mac.  XPlane 10.5 (last 10 ver).
Again, no problems like this on previous version.

Out of ideas what else to try.

I am using the newly released Xlife version 2R3 in X-Plane 10.51.  I visit several airports today and they all had the same
radio frequencies in the Airport Editor Radio tab.  I tried to change several of the radio frequencies but the Airport Editor would
not permanently save the changes.

Yep. X-Life not use GA procedures from charts on this stage, but generate some own instead.

Understand. Problem was - FREQ was saved well from Airport Editor, but when X-Life open .xlf file, FREQs override with some default. This build (R4) should fix this. Sure, we will renew some published .xlf files later.

I didn't understand a word... but if you use SimBrief then click on SAVE and then on GENERATE OFP. Then scrolling down you sill see a list of route plan downloads. Download JAR A320 file (.txt) and put it into the Flightplan folder located in X-Life folder. Then creating with X-Life a Flight Plan click on Import Plan from .txt file and send it to ATC and to MCDU (ACF)...

You should see some video tutorials that will avoid writing long stories...

Hi i think u fix my fps problem or mostly of it i think, it drop from 50 to 35 but then it set stable between 27-30. I also disable hyper threading from bios.

My setup: Windows 10 (64-bit),Asus maximus formula IX, i7 6700K, G.Skills 32GB DDR4 RAM, MSI GTX 1080 gaming z (8GB),

No, no, you are not understanding what I mean.  All works with the .txt file.  But, when I manually TYPE in the very same flight plan (letter per letter), it does NOT work.  Here are some pictures.  And yes at the end its KSLC, the C is cut off on pic view but it is there.

CTD with latest version R4 when I requested a different runway for takeoff X-Plane 11 CTD two times.

Just completed update of ZBAA.xlf in r4 and had no problem. Where do we best share the new .xlf files?
EDIT: just found out it was still r3! Trying r4 now
EDIT2: Just saved ZBAA.xlf from r4 no problem but had CTD when trying to switch airport to ZUUU

I love the Question marks pointing to errors to be corrected. One thing would help a lot and that is for the software to focus on a question mark randomly (similar to how WED does it) because I am having trouble finding the last few and spend a lot of time searching for them (appreciating the message that there are still errors to be corrected!).

www.simliveries.com is better way to share .xlf

If need to verify it and post to server for all users, need send it as ticket to www.support.jardesign.org

Problem fixed there was a scenery issue with KBOS so I changed .dat file. All good
