Hi JA great plane.  Anyone know on 3.8 is the ACARS supposed to work? When I click update it crashes Xplane.

Some part of users describe crash just after click Update button on DCDU. As you can see at Log.txt (just after crash happen) Metar data was readed/saved ok, but you may read xPilot plugin info in several strings after this. So, if you will remove xPilot plugin - crash will not happen and you will get metar info on your DCDU. JD320/330 not affect on xPilot plugin, but just send weather request to internet. It is may be what xPilot just intercept metar server answer and trying to parce it with no luck and generate CTD, I dont know, but guess only. Anyway, this issue may be solved on xPilot side and we ready to deal with xPilot developers if need.

Finally got around to updating to this new version 3.8, Thanks JA, Great flying aircraft! I have just one very minor issue to report. The PFD dimming no longer works, PFD stays full bright for me. The ND and All other dimming controls work normally. I just put it on MEL for now

All lights parameters (position, RGB color, intensive) depend in Plane Maker, if you ask about way.

Thank you for the update to JD320-V3.8R1 - may I please respectfully report two issues?

I was flying BGSF Kangerlussuaq into FCYFB Iqaluit which has no STARs for the ILS RW34 which I intended to intercept from BILKU which is on the extended centreline of the ILS (set BILKU with hard constraint 4000').

The MCDU/ND derived TOD for BILKU came much too late, so I elected to fly an orbit on heading hold to lose altitude, but I noticed that the vertical path indicator (green circle on PFD altimeter) immediately moved to center position (on vertical path) whenevr heading hold mode was ON, but it returned to the bottom of the altitude scale (too high, above vertical path) when LNAV was reselected.

Also, the QNH readout on the PFD blinked until we passed 18,000' even when the correct transition altitude was set on departure, which is a different behaviour to the the heavy JD Airbus.

Thanks for your reply, but nothing helps me. The second video was taken with a screen recorder and here it can be seen that the plane goes into the acceleration phase for a reason unknown to me, after the reverse is activated and the reverse green call.
I have already tried everything possible, including clean reinstalling the latest version, but without success.
I am not at home with Skype, so I will not contact you, but if anyone informs me of a possible solution, I will be very happy. Until then, I will use your A330, which works great for me, and for shorter versions I will use ZIBO737.

I have the same problem that's being reported by Zebaniz and Darko24. Flying from KORD to KLGA today it took me over an hour to stablelized the aircraft after I've touched the runway and it simply went to full power and took off, in air I did all the procedures to try to land again but in the process it was going up and down not responding to any commands from my joystick, couldn't aplly auto pilot again, I had to do the approach proceedure all over trying to bring it down at no success. Anyway, after the third trial, I got to land. But it is very frustrating the whole process we've been gone thru after some hours flying at the risk of loosing the entire flight because the aircraft isn't responding the way it should be.
And it's a shame because the aircraft use to flight just fine before and I always love to fly with my A320 from JAR.
I hope the problem will be fixed soon as I'm grounding it for now.

Sorry Mr.Romanov I can not understand what hardware error do I have. I can't understand why, with my configuration and harware, flying with your JD A330 are perfect with no issues.

I just flew with the A330. Aircraft was perfect.
With the Gizmo and xPilot plugins turned off, the DCDU worked fine too.
But unfortunately, this is not the case with the A320. There is a difference between them.
We expect the A320 to be fixed like the A330.
