Great update. I like the revamped MCDU and love the improved climb. The aircraft correctly continues to climb when accelerating after take off (instead of leveling off).

Hello! We prepare v.3 release 3 with some improvements:
+ improve SID/STAR drawing
+ some kinds of CTD fixed
If you already use v.3r1 or r2 you may just update 3 files only:
- replace win.xpl and mac.xpl in .../JD330XP11/plugins/fmgs/ folder
- place plugins_disable.txt file to .../JD330XP11/ folder if you meet "no sound" issue
Another way - redownload and reinstall aircaft from

Still having troubles during engine start. The engines hang at about 15% N3 for at least 5 mins before all of a sudden the AVAIL appears on top of EPR. No real spool up.

Hello ilankrt, it seems like good news, A330v3b3 now loads into my XP 11.20b2. Not sure whether it's the tweaks that JAR has added or Laminar, but it might be OK. Not done a flight yet or loaded BSS sounds or the BA livery, but at least it's a start.

Hi, Very good news ! Awaiting to hear about your first test flight. I uploaded yesterday the newest XP version then the newest versions of XL and A300 (the 2.xpl files) and made a test flight from UMMS to UUEE without any problem. Let's seeing continuation if we have stable versions....

Hallo test-flight pilots. I am beginning a new series of test flights project "Russia Eastward" on route:
UUEE - UWKD - UATT - UACC - UAAA. Is someone willing to fly the same route and change information
about the behaviour of the A330 and XL traffic? All flights I do are under real weather conditions, and X-Life ATC....
For the route planing I use simBrief.com and the latest AIRAC cycle..

Jardesign never fix that! To bad e very sad. Still flying with 767 FF and A320 FF.

Yes I did. it didn't make any difference, with or without it.

The GPU sound is incredibly loud. Is there anyway to just delete the sound file? Turning "GPU" down in the settings menu does nothing.

As usual we read a lot of complains without any usable information.
For example, I never ever experience a FPS drop in connection with SID and STAR?!
On the contrary to your experience using the last XL and A330 versions I see significant improvement of >10 FPS!
And what do you want to say with your remark about flying the FF models?

NEED HELP : Last attempt here to get some sort of help to install this V3.
I have updated latest JAVA and MS Visual, got latest GHD Deluxe installed and running everything in windows 10 administrator but can not for the life of me..get the activation window to appear. Running triple monitors, cockpit shows on left and right but centre monitor (activation screen) flickers then goes dark with aircraft not activated text. The activation window itself fails to appear.
Has worked fine with all other versions, no problems with the A320 either... so it has me stumped.
ORG forum has drawn no help and raised a support ticket which has not been answered either.
Can anybody help, would love to get this V3 up and running..

Just a thought. Do you have nVidia video card (s)? How many - one or two in SLI?
I run 3 x 27" screens using 2 x 1080 in SLI mode using nVidia surround and this setup works a teat.
Have you updated the nVidia drivers to latest?
Do you have your monitors correctly selected and have surround working correctly?
I know you said it works for the A320 (as does mine) so this should also work for the A330 as it did for me.

I am using single nvidia GTX 1080 Ti, not using surround but monitors are configured using the x plane multiple monitor set up . Works great with all my aircraft, accept FFa320 which does not yet support multiple monitors.
I have updated latest graphic drivers too.
All previous versions of this A330 have been fine, just can;t get the V3 to play ball..

Did my first flight in the A330v3r3 in XP 11.20b3 from EGKK to EHAM. Most of the flight went well, but as I was descending into EHAM the aircraft suddenly went into a heavy descent. I managed to get it all back together, but I don't know what caused it to happen. May have been a coincidence but it happened as I selected LO auto brake. Other than that a good flight.
One thing I've noticed, no real issue, but the plate is still showing A330R2 and when X-Life loads it's showing 2.2r1 and I've loaded 2.2r2.

The link in this forum for 2.2 is actually a download for V3...which does not work for me, so where is the JD330 ver 2.2..?
Please look at this Jardesign, files are messed up.

In the last days we have a flood of X-Plane beta updates. I admit that every time I click on install I feel very insecure: Will it work with my X-Plane configuration or destroy the "fine tuning" I made? For example I learned that I have to reinstall SkyMaxxPro and RealWeaterConnector every time for new. Now installing XP11.20b3 it didn't work:
"XL: 109 : JARDesign plugin: /Desktop/X-Plane 11/Resources/plugins/X-Life/Metar/UUEE.TXT file updated"

Only after reinstalling X-Life completely I could made another test flight UWKD - UATT flying the A330 3r3 without any problem..

Just download and full install V3 r3 from the link on main topic , and in cockpit i have a suddenly V3 r2 sign .It is correct or i have a wrong installation ?
