Re: JD320 Airliner ver 3.2 r1 WIN/MAC 64 bit (X-Plane 11)

2 issues.

#1: Unable to DIRECT TO a waypoint.

I was on approach with vectors when ATC told me to DIRECT TO XXXX. Once I punched it in instead of directing to the waypoint my plane started turning/directing to the original T/C of my flight????

#2: On final the ELEV TRIM going haywire even with autopilot disabled, thereby making my nose bounce up and down and up and down and up and down... (you get the point).

This was my first flight with this version and i am a sad panda ;(

(This was coming into KDCA from the CLIPR1 STAR to ILS01)

Hey JAR,

You've introduced a couple of minor bugs in this release.

Yes.

I'm ABSOLUTELY sure the button click sound isn't supposed to play repeatedly when you you try to arrow over to a non-existent page.   Just like I'm absolutely sure the F-PLN page isn't supposed to be blank if you hit it prior to initializing the FMGC.

I agree for repeated sound (but it is not new, existed before this release ).

What do you want to see on F-Pln window if no information heve been entered ?

Re: JD320 Airliner ver 3.2 r1 WIN/MAC 64 bit (X-Plane 11)

Hi and thanks for the great product!

I have a question regarding gate navdatabase.
The old database is there in _navdata and the updated one is in the custom data folder as advised.
However the issue is I cannot select between the two in the MCDU ad it says here:

UPDATE YOU NAV DATA WITH FRESH CYCLE (if need)
If you need update your cycle, please use Aerosoft/Navigraph
- “JARDesign a320/330 Native format”
and put new cycle to ../X-PLANE 11/Custom Data/GNS430/navdata/ folder (create this folder if need)
You may switch default/custom installed navdata via MCDU.
Default cycle (Aerosoft, old) always included to _navdata folder.

How do I do that as it says second database is not loaded yet I know it is.

Same problem in the A330 too.
Your help appreciated.
Regards
Robert

Re: JD320 Airliner ver 3.2 r1 WIN/MAC 64 bit (X-Plane 11)

Hello
A friend of mine has a problem with the A320

If he copied Xarcars into the plugins folder and then fly with the A320 he gets always an error:

ERROR: A320 Plugin not loaded propertly

For me, the A320 works with Xarcars but perfectly flawless where can lie??

In the log of Xplane I have found only the following entry:

C: \ X-Plane 11 / Aircraft / 320_JARDesign / plugins / 320 / win.xpl: Error Code = 182: The operating system can not run% 1.
Loaded: C: \ X-Plane 11 / Aircraft / 320_JARDesign / plugins / diagnostic / win.xpl (jardesign.a320diagnostic).

Sorry for the bad english. Is Google Translation.

Re: JD320 Airliner ver 3.2 r1 WIN/MAC 64 bit (X-Plane 11)

hello,
I had JarDesign A320 version 3.1 running on my x-plane 11 with no issues. yesterday I upgraded to v3.2 which I downloaded from your forum. The airplane loaded but there was an error on the screen that there is a problem in activation and I should contact support. The activation screen does not show. and I cannot do anything from the plugins menu.
I tried deleting and reinstalling several times, but same issue happens every time.

Then I deleted the new version and reinstalled the old. The problem now is that x-plane 11 does not show Jardesign A320 within the airplanes gallery.

would you please advise what to do

Re: JD320 Airliner ver 3.2 r1 WIN/MAC 64 bit (X-Plane 11)

Were can i find the v3.2r2?

85

Re: JD320 Airliner ver 3.2 r1 WIN/MAC 64 bit (X-Plane 11)

The link is in the second line of the opening post of this thread.

86

Re: JD320 Airliner ver 3.2 r1 WIN/MAC 64 bit (X-Plane 11)

That link is for Version R1. A message popped  up inside XPlane that R2 is available for download.

87

Re: JD320 Airliner ver 3.2 r1 WIN/MAC 64 bit (X-Plane 11)

Indeed it is.  Having downloaded the files, they definitely have 15/07/17 as their modified date, just the same as R1.  This is definitely the thread that clicking the "Link" button takes you to though.

Maybe a new thread will appear shortly, as it seems to have done with the A330??

Re: JD320 Airliner ver 3.2 r1 WIN/MAC 64 bit (X-Plane 11)

Agree with the above.  The link points to files dated 15 July, which are still 3.2r1 (see plate in cockpit)  but the "News" of 3.2r2 is dated at 12 August.  I cannot see the 3.2r2 files anywhere on the JARDesign board.

Re: JD320 Airliner ver 3.2 r1 WIN/MAC 64 bit (X-Plane 11)

Not sure what's going on, I got the pop saying v3.2r2 for A320 is available. I downloaded it from the first page, as usual, and installed it into XP 11. When I tried to start it, before I even activated it the same popup appeared.
The same happened when I tried to start the A330, a popup for a new update for the 330.
I reloaded v3.2r1 which I'd saved and will wait and see what happens, hopefully it will get sorted soon.

Re: JD320 Airliner ver 3.2 r1 WIN/MAC 64 bit (X-Plane 11)

I got the same pop up that 3.2r2 was available. I downloaded it and decided to take a flight. However, I noticed the nameplate was still 3.2r1, the transponder numbers window is blank, all the radio frequency windows are blank below and in the overhead panel, and the battery and IRS align windows in the overhead panel are blank as well. I reverted back to my original and functional 3.2r1 and took a successful flight. Thanks.

Re: JD320 Airliner ver 3.2 r1 WIN/MAC 64 bit (X-Plane 11)

Yes, for the A320, the link to get the download file is connected again with the last version 3.2 r1 !
At least, this is the indication reported by the plate on the cockpit of the aircraft.
JAR is doing a lot of confusion about the version of the aircraft....
Why JAR doesn't include in the filename to download the version id ??
Why JAR doesn't include a history.txt file in the package to download where every customer can read the current version of the package ?

best regards

Gigi

Well, at least we know Jar Design is constantly working on improving the A320. Looking forward to the download (hopefully today?).

I hope they have decided to respond to FF A320. The JD A320 has features that I cannot live without, such as the reflections, sound and amazing cabin. I would HATE to see JD's A320 being abandoned, because it really is the best payware aircraft I have in this respect.

It is just cold and hard fact that if FF A320 will be really study level what they are saying then reflections won't save Jar. I personally would love to hear that Jar will really take up with competition and start developing new features and fix incomplete ones to make Jar to be the best A320 out there. Sad part is that I haven't noticed any new feature. Every patch seem to be just fixing something I've never even encountered.

Yes, I absolutely agree with you. And, given X-Life 2.0 seems to be stable and doing well, I wonder if they are turning their attention to their aircraft again. It was about one month ago 3.2r1 came out, and 3.1 more than three months ago, so it seems as if things are picking up again. On the flipside, it does indeed seem that the updates don't seem to be doing anything, and it would be sad to see a lack of development in this aircraft, given I'm not prepared to fork out $80-odd for another A320 that I probably won't actually like.

Re: JD320 Airliner ver 3.2 r1 WIN/MAC 64 bit (X-Plane 11)

When the FF A320 comes out, i think i will await at least some early reviews, as given FF's track record with Airbus aircraft, the A350 to be more specific, i am not overly confident that all of this "study level" hype will actually deliver.

Time will tell of course

Re: JD320 Airliner ver 3.2 r1 WIN/MAC 64 bit (X-Plane 11)

Well, the JAR A320 is REAL and available.
The FF A320 is still fiction, and will remain so, in my mind, until I fly it - if and when they release it. Then I, and everyone else who cares, can judge if it is indeed the promised "all bells and whistles" study level aircraft simulation they promised.

As far as I know the FF A320 is being developed by a different (highly experienced) dev group within FF and they didn't advertise their A350 as a study level aircraft (although I am also disappointed that STARS/SIDS are even not implemented in the current version for example). So you can't really compare the development of the A350 to the one of the A320. But yeah, let's see what actually comes out of it. I'm also gonna wait for some first reviews.

Re: JD320 Airliner ver 3.2 r1 WIN/MAC 64 bit (X-Plane 11)

I find the JAR320 really underpowered. Numbers from TOPCAT and what i get while taking off differ by a huge margin. I often can barely lift off by the end of the runway. Are you planing to correct engine thrust?
