Topic: X-Life ver 1.3

So, it is time to make next step forward.

What new in ver.1.3:

+ add ATC enroute control
+ add custom commands to control ATC panel via joystick
(instruction http://jardesign.org/x-life/www/custom-commands/ )
+ some minor improvements and bug fix

Installation:

!!! If you have ver 1.2 installed, you may update win.xpl and mac.xpl files only!

1. Be sure what you use OSX 10.9-10.12 or Windows 7-8-10 and X-Plane 64 bit 10.42+ or X-Plane 11 64 bit.

2. Be sure what you have at least one of static library installed -
OpenSceneryX. If not, you can install it for free opensceneryx.com

3. Copy “X-Life” folder to your ../X-PLANE 10/Resources/plugins/ folder

4. If you prefer use HD “Bluebell XL” traffic AI library, please download 3 files from
http://jardesign.org/downloads/BBXL/BBXL-1.zip
http://jardesign.org/downloads/BBXL/BBXL-2.zip
http://jardesign.org/downloads/BBXL/BBXL-3.zip

Next unZIP and put “Bluebell XL” folder to ../X-PLANE 10/Custom Data/ folder
and install folders “PackA”, “PackB”, “PackG”, “PackJ”, “PackP” to
../X-PLANE 10/Custom Data/Bluebell XL/ folder

UPDATE YOU NAV DATA WITH FRESH CYCLE (if needed)
X-Life use NavData (old) cycle by Aerosoft from own /navdata/ subfolder
or from ../X-PLANE/Custom Data/GNS430/navdata/ folder if exist

If you need update your cycle, please use Aerosoft/Navigraph
- “JARDesign a320/330 Native format” or (the same in fact)
and put new cycle to ../X-PLANE/Custom Data/GNS430/navdata/ folder

All remain the same
- please post you opinion about this version, post what you like/unlike
- post your log.txt + x-life.dmp if Crash happen and you are on Windows.

I was not with ATC. Flight from LLBG, currently WIP, fine tuning routes and stands

Previous flight from BKPR to LLBG went fine. Nice transitions between FIRs and TOD announcing.

Hi, I have installed the update and although traffic is on when I try to open flightplan it says that traffic is off. Airport code RJTT.

Nice changing, but still have trouble with make flight plan from LJLJ to LOWW and same form LOWW to LJLJ. I use last aerosoft ariac cycle. On start x-life show me that this cycle is installed. When i generate plan from LJLJ to LOWW , plan is so long, that A320 is out of range return to LJLJ generated plan is LOWW STAR LJLJ and atc not accepted this plans.

Why ?

My setup: Windows 10 (64-bit), Z490 AORUS PRO AX, INTEL i7 10700k, 32GB DDR4 RAM, NVIDIA Geforce GTX 2070S 8GB
X-Plane 11.55, X-Plane12RC2, Flight PRO joke, Logitech panels
My Fleet: JD320-V3.8R1 with copilot, JD330-V4.4B3 with copilot, ZIBO 737-800X,
Utilities: X-LIFE Deluxe verversion 4.30 latest, FMcar latest, GHD ver. latest, X Camera,BSS JAR A320 V4,Better pushback

I get the "X-Plane is totally out of memory" everytime I activate it with the license, it's working with the free version, I don't get it.

1. How do I fresh this nav cycle thingy? Is this mandatory? This topic is really not covered here.

2. Another problem:

What is causing this, another aircraft is pushing it until it gets really close to the runway then it disappears leaving the correct aircraft
This is at takeoff, there is a 737 in the smoke

I have also this problem.

Hi,
something is awfully wrong. I´m getting over 60 FPS, but when I active the X-Life plugin, it cuts the framerate to 25-30 8-/ .
I´ve tried different airports and also different planes. The same effect happens. This even happens, when the plugin is loaded, but traffic is not turned on.
I´m using the latest Xplane beta and also our latest version 1.3.

Can you please explain why X-Life ins't working when I am at airport Gibraltar. The ICAO code for that airport is LXGB, but X-Life keeps telling me that it is the wrong ICAO code. XP 11 does recognize this airport on this ICAO code. It has been like this in version 1.2 and also in 1.3.
I know it is a not supported airport, but there are more airports like that and X-Life is working normally.

By the way, keep up the good work mr. Romanov. I like your new version, this is a welcome addition to ATC.

Do you have created a LXGB.dat file with taxiroutes and a LXGB.txt with stand/gate information and put it in the Airports directory of X-Life? If not you can't use X-Life there. If you can use it on other airports without that files, then it seems that X-Life is getting these informations from the airport file itself.

Very strange .. I´m using xEnviro - and X-life tells me to use real weather or to ignore and start traffic. When I active traffic, the fps drops down to half .

I use xEnviro and X-Life, real weather works just ignore the warning. Have a i5-4690k and a gtx 1070 no fps drop with both full settings.

Some guy on another forum solved the problem for me. I´ve never had any problems with "threaded optimization" - on or off had no effect - so I left it on. And that caused the massive drop of fps when using x-life!

So, guys - if you have any strange fps problems don´t (always) blame the poor developer ;-) . I´m very glad that I got it working now!

Useful comment, thanks! Sure, for X-Life I use multithread coding a lot, cause one core calculation cant proceed tons of info, but multithreading - yes.

I unistalled xEnviro for this issue... If I ignore the warning, X-Life works, but the ATIS information is not valid anymore, altimeter settings are wrong.

I have just a short question:

On startup of X-Life I sometimes get a popup telling me that additional airports are now usable for X-Life.

Do I need to re-download another release of X-Life in order to get the definitions for those additional airports or will X-Life do this automatically when I load this airport in X-Plane?

All X-Life airports what was verify by JARDesign are always uploader to our server and X-Life download it in auto mode. User should do nothing.
