I installed 10.50 b4 and I have an issue with A320 JAR (no issue with A330 JAR) as the plane is CONSTANTLT triming up! If I proceed as usual, the plane would level off at FL100and if I want to increase the Flight Level, speed is vanishing and I would stall. I've been able today to pass FL100 to FL300 only because I was constantly triming down!. And again not happening with A330 from JAR

Any clue somebody?

Re: a320neo JARDesign ver 2.6 r2 WIN/MAC 64 bit

No clue whatsoever, but i experience the same thing with the EADT Boeing 738 (old 4.93 version)...
So whatever is causing the issue in the A320, is not exclusively contained to this plane, i recon...

maybe something else:
since b4, the a320 doesn't automatically advance to the next waypoint, so i have a flightplan, but i have to manually redirect the autopilot to the next waypoint, which isn't really that comfy....

@JAR in the name of everybody could you just make a statement about this issue? We would like to know if this is an issue that should to be addressed to Laminar or to Jardesign, or if there is anything we could do to temporary fix the problem. The A320 NEO is our favorite aircraft and XP10.50 is a stunning release and it is normal that costumers are dying to use their favorite add-on along with their favorite sim. As I understand from Laminar beta4 is already a pretty stable release and no many changes will occur until RC will be released so I believe that costumers deserves just a small statement from you making them understand what the problem with the a320 is (all other aircraft are working fine).
Thanks for your work and for your time

Hello,

Yes this problem is experienced by those who have 10.50b4. Also, you'll notice the fuel consumption is quite high, despite manually trimming. I have gathered from this forum that JAR will not work on a fix until there is a stable release. Even though the X-Plane developer has stated on his blog that b4 'should be stable enough' for 3rd party developers to fix.

I am waiting.

Re: a320neo JARDesign ver 2.6 r2 WIN/MAC 64 bit

Hi !

X-Plane 10.50b5 is out, and it seems that the A320 is working again. At least I could climb to 20000 feet without any
problems.

best regards,

Thomas

Strange, tried it and still have all of the above....
will try again.

Re: a320neo JARDesign ver 2.6 r2 WIN/MAC 64 bit

Trim and fuel consumption fixed for me also.

187

Re: a320neo JARDesign ver 2.6 r2 WIN/MAC 64 bit

I can confirm that trim and fuel consumption problem is fixed for me...

however, b5 has introduced a new problem. LNAV doesn't work. The autopilot directs to waypoint A, but doesn't move to waypoint B. Once it reaches Waypoint A, it continues to fly present heading.

188

Re: a320neo JARDesign ver 2.6 r2 WIN/MAC 64 bit

You're right, i've tested it again, and the trim and fuel consumption seem to be resolved.
The other problem you mention, the LNAV, I've experienced since 10.50b3 or 4...
I've logged a support case to be sure smile

Make a test flight on 2.6r2, now have few observations :

- the refuel truck moving with plane on push-back

- when the rain falls on windshields, raindrops moving by hexagonic directions

Re: a320neo JARDesign ver 2.6 r2 WIN/MAC 64 bit

Dear JARDesign Team,

I'm just trying to make the switch from FSX to X-Plane. After I flown the major brands Aerosoft / PMDG in FSX I must say: I'm really impressed by your Aircraft and it's the first I buyed for XP due to the reviews and your support for the community. Thanks!
I will try to contribute with my feedback so that you can make the plane better (if it is possible):
1. My first point will be a minor graphical issue on the HYD panel (overhead). On my PC there is a FAULT light on the BLUE system on the ELEC PUMP switch. I assume it should be on the YELLOW ENG 2 PUMP as it is also on the GREEN ENG 1 PUMP when the engines are not running.
2. I am missing the hydraulics sound for example when turning on the ELEC PUMP (I think I heard that in some of the youtube videos).

Thank you.
Best regards from germany,
Gerald

Test flight KBOS-KEWR

I know, 10.5b5 is a BETA but it's pretty stable and works with the A330 so I'm surprised by this. Eugeny may not want to look into this because it is a BETA but I thought I'd report anyway, maybe it helps.

As previously reported, the autopilot takes the AC to the first waypoint but then doesn't engage any course changes.
I hand-flew a couple of waypoints and when I re-engaged the AP it correctly flew the route - until below FL100 on Approach, when it stopped changing course again.
So I had to hand-fly final approach and landing which went well (was too busy to interact with ATC so got abandoned).

Good Day,

Apple OS X latest version should be 10.11.5 ; I see you are running 10.11.4 so, I do not know if this might be causing the issue but when you don't keep the OS X beta current you can have issues with some software.

2) I see you are running the;  Saitek X52,  Radio, Switch and Multi Panel; I would after checking everything else (remove this plugin and see if the issue fixes it-self. Since, you can put the Saitek X52,  Radio, Switch and Multi Panel back in after testing.)

I am using, iMac 27" i5 OS X 10.10.5 Mav. GTX 775, SMP3 with the NOAA real weather plugin, etc ... (so basically the same as your computer)

Steps for testing:

Step #1

So, each step do one at a time up date your OS X first and see if it fixes the issue, if not go to step #2

Step #2 remove the Saitek X52,  Radio, Switch and Multi Panel and re-start the X-Plane and the aircraft A320 the as per the usual start-up procedure. if this is the issue report back and attach the log.txt as we can work on the bug...

Step #3 please give us (JAR) the type and cycle of Nav data you are using as there might be an issue with it.
