I had a CTD while flying from EDJA to EDDM. I have created my own EDJA.dat for testing. The CTD happend during my approach to EDDM.

EDDH: After report TOD to CENTER - ATC advise descend at pilot's discretion to FL50....
Then contacting APPROACH ATC - advice descend to FL60

It happened every time that the first descent advice is lower then the second (from APPROACH)
It seems to me not to be a logical advice sequence (I suspect that the first advice is some sort of fixed standard advice ?)
On video I saw that ATC advices pilot to descend in several progressive stages downward.....

EDDH has only 3 raws of aircraft traffic simulation (usually I see 5 raws) and very poor air traffic around airport.

I forgot to tell: After landing on EDDH taxi brought the A330 to a general parking lot of small aircrafts !!!!!!!!!
The image shows where I found my aircraft today parking at EDDH. Need to correct.....

Hello all,

Whenever I start X plane, X Life doesn't load and gives me this error:

/X-Plane 10/Resources/plugins/X-Life/win.xpl : Error Code = 182 : The operating system cannot run %1.

I am using Windows 10, X plane 10.45r2.

Any ideas what this could mean?

Thanks for the tips, but it still doesn't work; when I downloaded the 2010 redistributable pack, it said I already had a new version installed. I double checked, and it looks like I have versions 2005 to 2015 (both 32 and 64 bit). Do you think they are conflicting with each other?

Hi, some reports watching for some time ai traffic in various airports:

- At LIRF i've seen aircrafts enter in the middle of runway 07/25 going at the beginning and make a 360° for takeoff
- In various airports aircrafts wait at holding points minutes for other planes coming more than 25/30 km away
- In some cases aircrafts stop at holding point waiting for a plane that i can't see on map and they never takeoff.

Maybe can help to improve ai performance..i'll try capture some shots

EDDH: As I wrote, positioning aircraft on false park lot. (small aircraft parking place)
So I changed parking lot to Nr 40. As a result calling the FollowMe car didn't work. The car was waiting at
the first parking place. I had to start for new the car following on map.

EIDW Nice design and traffic as it should. On approach in the last phase another aircraft appeared suddenly just in
front of my aircraft. I set to make a go around but the other aircraft changes course instead to land and disappeared.
back on landing course I could not line up with the runway as it should be. horrible landing!

BTW I reinstalled SkyMaxxPro3 to see what happened - first try succeeded.
it is interesting to know which plugins other test pilots are using.....

I want to clarify the problem visually. I've attached an image.
As you see, if you have holding point at a further distance from the runway in a curved taxiway, you will not be able to create a holding point if you do not want the aircrafts to take shortcuts over the taxi-line. This will be a problem if the holding point is automatically identified as the the beginning of the last taxi-line to the runway.

Also, if ever a holdingpoints for ILS-areas will ever be implemented, this would greatly worsen the problem.

Actually, forget it, I think I solved it anyway, as it seems now it does not crash. You where right Romanov, it seemed there was some problem with my routing, but sadly I do not know how I fixed it.

Anyway, how do you define taxiroutes with no name? I've several small taxiways joining up on a big apron. What should I do about the taxiroutes on the apron? If I name these routes to nothing, ATC tells me to taxi via 'non'. I then name these routes to 'Apron', which ATC pronounced to 'Alpha pron'.

Name it "apron" with small characters, it works

CTD at KMIA. X-Life traffic working but no FM Car!

EDIT: Managed to get FM car to show with DD MIAMI + Frypilot airports, loading Frypilot first. DD Miami has 3 airports in one file so FM car doesn't show. But it will for Frypilot's airport. Loosing the gates from DD MIAMI, though.
X-Life does NOT generate a flight plan (traffic working fantastically!) and I get the "not verified" message, although KMIA is on the approved map. Same incidentally with KEWR!
Loaded my own Co-Route and am now enroute to KBOS with ATC support.

First improve after ver 1.0 about radio freq of ATC position.

+ add Radio Freq tab to GateEditor
+ auto switch Com1 freq from ATC panel
+ ability to set and use reallife freq

Indeed, I believe that the second crash was caused by TimeMachine starting a backup...

EIDW: I don't know if it is a specific problem at this airport. As I received cleared to runway, I got next an advice to correct transponder code, so I stopped on runway to correct squawk. Normally as I am on runway TOWER advices continue and take-off. As I stopped, the aircraft that was behind, waiting for me to take-off started rolling on RWY passing my aircraft. This is a program failure. Usually when an aircraft is on runway other aircraft are in loop waiting for cleared runway and until this case it works perfectly.......

I have not yet tried it, but I understand correctly that I need to select or eliminate RWY and parking lots before I have created my flight plan?

It is worth to think about if the COM1 channels can as an option be seen on screen (down left side). It will help to dial quickly especially during take-off and landing.

Approach is becoming more real. Now I have to look on radar and see if there are other aircraft on approach to same runway before me (or behind me but at higher speed). In this case I have to control speed to stay in distance and also calculate time needed for other to clear the runway. This is an amazing X-Life new simulation aspect .....
