Too bad that you did not enlarge the route. It is difficult to see clear the ND. But I recognise at 02.14.41 that you ar flying toward PISAS at FL 5000ft too high to catch LOC or G/S. Then I see that the turn at OM23 is far too narrow for straightened with the runway.

I didn't follow the whole video and don't know about the flightplan, but I think that I had added at least on or more additional FIXes before OM23 to have a less sharp turn to RWY. Adding FIXes can be handled through the A330 MCDU. Or as I now see delete LBV and you solve you problem.

BTW I see now that you didn't activated the APPR probably on time. It initiate the speed reduce and descent to G/S.....

Test flight A330 v.B4 using XL: All systems are working well. No special occurrences. This time I waned to see how aircraft behaves under stormy weather conditions, so I turned off real weather conditions and configured manually a stormy weather.

At 88kt tailwinds entering storm clouds aircraft lost the AP ability to hold flight route. Then AP disconnected several times and aircraft seems to roll over. flying manually through kicking the rudder helped to level aircraft but I couldn't"t hold flight route any more. Having now 77kt sidewinds I had to reduce speed and get the right FL - too much for one pilot ....

At least at 105kt (!) tailwinds I reached 10000ft and began with the approach. The imported thing is that the aircraft model stayed full functioning all the time through..... though this behaviour there was no way to land. Back to real weather conditions and Go-Around (flight path was not correct this time) manually back on G/S I land safely...

What AIRAC cycle are you using? It should be

AIRAC cycle : 1802
Version : 1
Valid (from/to): 01/FEB/2018 - 28/FEB/2018

so it will be compatible to your plan-route

Thanks for the feedback. Yes, I should have looked at the approach better, it was way off. Fixes definitely. But if you check the start, is also where I program the MCDU, but it's still wrong. Done other flights and they work great now. So will do some more streams soon. And keep it up Jar! You are doing this great.

I too just watched the video and unfortunately, you were a victim of an "incomplete MCDU" which should have allowed you to insert the proper arrival/transition for RWY 23. Manually adding fixes appears to be the only solution at this time until JAR can at least acknowledge that the MCDU is not complete. Had you been able to properly add the transition route from LBV (or initial approach fix ELBE) it would have taken you on a course of 066 for 21.8 miles from LBV. Then a procedural turn to PISAS or a point 9.3 miles from the RWY at 3000 feet. Then, the landing would have been much easier to manage along with your altitude, speed, flaps deployment, etc during approach. Looking forward to a complete MCDU......

Downloaded this morning and flew VTBS - VHHH. Great A/C, no real dramas apart from occasionally wandering off the NAV course during cruise. Love how the ND flight path is now curved, and the constraints actually work, especially altitude.

Ok, I read all your reports / videos. Thanks a lot!!!!

We should not have crash, include wrong pilot operation case. Fo this - please post dumps if this happen and (if possible) - description what can i do to get the same crash on my side. If I have dump, i can fix crash 80%. If i can get this crash on my side - 100% can be fixed.

Now we expect b5 with new feature - flightplan generaion. So, need enter EDDM/EDDF at Init A page and select <REQUEST on next page.

It's Cycle 16.03, and this is just fine because I'm using simbrief to plan the route and the free
cycle in simbrief is 16.03. So the planning of the route is OK. No need to update the cycle als long
as I'm not flying online.

В логе 2 полета, второй начинается на примерно на 1500 стоке лога.

Шаги:
1. Активация GPU по кнопке слева внизу экрана.
2. Включение батарей на оверхеде
3. Включение GPU на оверхеде
4. FMGS - ввод DEP/ARR - LKPR/UMMS
5. FMGS - ввод рейса - CSA615
6. FMGS - Align IRS
7. FMGS - CRZ/TEMP - 410/-48 --> CTD

Надеюсь поможет.
PS: Ввод типа 410, 410/ дают ошибку о некорректных данных

They are route descriptions which are used when flying from airport A to B for instrumental flight.

Installed latest A330 and FlyWithLua

I was having issues with all my plugins locking up. X-Plane was fine but could not click on or movie any plugin windows, even the enable/disable plugin that comes with X-Plane. Removed some plugins out of action and all is finally okay after removing the latest A330 beta.

Anyone else getting this issue?

No, can you attach the log when you try to load the A330?

Actually, I don't think it has anything to do with the A330... something bad has happened during a flight with Zibo 737... all the clickable regions, including the plugin windows have all moved up a few "inches" from their actual positions. If I want to click on any switches, or close plugin windows I have to click on some random area above the actual area I want to click on... totally screwed up my flight, an hour in a two hour flight... wtf!

I inserted D066V before PISAS and it all aligned up perfect. The landing is a bit crap though... But that's not essential here.

Yes, better approach and alignment. Strange oscillations though on approach so not sure if that is part of the plane or not....didn't look like the winds were that bad. Anyway, I've parked it until they complete the MDCU for approaches. It is starting to remind me of the Blackbox Airbus series for P3D with respect to the unfinished approach phases. Here's hoping beta 5 allows it.

They are route descriptions which are used when flying from airport A to B for instrumental flight.

It's 16.03 for primary and 14.10 for secondary. And the route is also planned with 16.03 Cycle.

And no, that is not the source for the CTD....

Test flight LGIR - LLBG A330 v.B4 +X-Life + diverse plugins:
What shell I say, perfect flight from the first moment. Everything works well - even descending from FL310 with 60kt tailwind and no need to deploy speedbrakes. Engines also went silence as we are use to hear as passenger during the descent... Aircraft was stable at approach and landing (aircraft swinging occurs sometimes in the past..) My neighbour, a real world B777 pilot sitting near me to see how I am simulating landing was impressed from this airliner model (and I got this time also a positive feedback).

I loaded the A/C again today and couldn't get rid of the pink windscreens. I cant disable the rain effects (suggested in another post) in the A330 menu as it is missing from the plug in menu.
