I have created Taxi routes for three airports approx. 80 kms apart and installed the three xxxx.dat files in the airports folder of X-Life. Started X-Plane, started X-Life, agreed to the license and started the plugin. Edited the start locations for the aircraft type etc. and saved the created xxxx.txt also in the airports folder. All looks okay. some aircraft appear at the locations specfied.
I can file a Flight Plan for myself and fly to one of the three airports and that works fine, right up to the gate.
All the sliders in the settings selection are set to mid range. I left it running for over an hour and never did an aircraft leave the stand location where it appeared at startup. One aircraft arrived ( don't know from where ) and went to a gate as I would have expected. But I did expect that over a hour span there would have been some aircraft leave the airport and some more arrive.
Is this a bug you are still working on or is there some way to make it more active. I have tried setting the sliders for more activity but its the same no matter where they are set.
I am running the latest beta version on a Mac

I had the same problem.
I was my anti virus real time protection that caused X-Life not to be able to write to HDD.
When I turned it off, the problem stopped.

I have been trying to purchase the Deluxe version from http://jardesign.org/x-life/www/shop/ but continue to get errors and I am sure all the info I am providing is correct. Do you know if Digital River is having problem with JarDesign on their end?

Crash Report:
I am not sure, but it seems to me to be a conflict between SkyMaxxPro3 and X-Life (ver. b8)

During my last 3 test flights from EDDH to EHAM X-Plane crashes every time in different situation.
I was looking at the log.txt file and saw, that every time the last operation was the SkyMaxxPro3 Memory Check.
This check is looking after GPU and CPU KB?!

Has someone using SMP3 experience same occurrences?

If you are a test pilot of X-Life using SMP3 on iMac let's hear what happens during flight...
(I use iMac27 i7 Maverick with 32GB DDR3 and Geforce 2047 MB)

I do not know if this is the problem.

good day,
as I have been watching your post and I know you are a new member I need to go over some things with you so your experience with XL is a good one.

First, this is still in Beta testing so when you post with an issue there are certain data that JAR and the rest of the testers need from you so we can (1) help you and (2) de-bug the issue. and not always in this order.

So, this is the data we need the bbox.txt and the log.txt now if you do not know how to do this it is not hard, after you post the post click the edit link at the bottom, then you will see the 'choose file' click on this and navigate to the bbox.txt which is in the main file in the JAR aircraft folders for the A320Ne and A330.

Next add the file to the post using the ADD FILE button after that navigate to the log.txt and up-load the log.txt file the same way,
this way we can all be on the same page and you issues can be resolve in a timely manner and JAR can de-bug if this is the issue, which is most likely the issue here.

The only other issue I see is which 10.11 version are you running and if you had added you log.txt I would not have to ask the question I would have the data already.

I am sure you can help improve the X-Life plugin if you follow these steps.

I am using SMP-3 and I set it to default settings and then the cloud settings I set to 30-45 % in rendering settings see if this helps
Also with out a Log.txt and a box.txt finding out what your issue is is next to impossible.

Ps, un-install your //* Airport Navigator/// this plugin is not compatible with X-Life I have un-installed it all the way do not just turn it off  it must be removed as it take to much time to load and then you have the load time for X-Life, and your FollowMeCar does the work that the Airport Navigator was doing.

He-he. 2 days ago i prepare a version to catch CTD. I am understand it nature, know place in code, but dont know where in code a reason born. So run this version under debugger 2 nights and 1/2 day = 8+8+6 hrs. And what do you think - no one CTD happen sad Ohhhh..

Sure, i have CTD sometimes, but..

If someone have stable CTDs (and better - with MAC OS) - please asist me with this!

will run a test flight and send complete data package as always. Need a control flight plan that all Beta testers run the same flight plan, then send the bbox and the log.txt and this is a must by all testers.

I think this is the way to approach this issue so please pick a route so we can all run the same and report back with bbox.txt and log.txt and I did  see a txt file in Metar that was strange it was the K03S.txt it was a Rich Txt file instead of a plain txt file and it is an error message that is saying;

Not Found
The requested Url /pub/data/observations/ metar/decoded/K03S.TXT was not found on this server.

Apache server at Weather. noaa.gov port 80

Nevertheless, this is the error message i found for what it is worth I changed the format to plain txt format and the other .txt files in the Metar file is; EDDM, EGLL, KLAX, KPDX, KSVE
So, I hope this is data that will help.

this is a big help if then we all send a bbox.txt before we close the X-Plane down to JAR this will help him also send the log.txt

observing aircraft movement I noticed the following:

you can see two runways. the one in the background is 27 at EHAM and the one in the foreground is 22.  at both were aircraft at the holding point. So one aircraft holding for lining up on 27 due to landing traffic. However the other aircraft was waiting at the same time before crossing runway 22. Once the traffic cleared runway 27 also the aircraft holding at the taxiway crossing at 22 also started to taxi again. Those two should not really depend on each other.

same again here. you can see there is traffic landing at 18R (see text info on the left in first screenshot) which causes two aircraft to hold for runway 22.

Once runway 18R was vacated (it now says taxi in the second screenshot) the aircraft holding at 22 (the red and white one) started to cross the runway 22.
That is not correct in my eyes as parallel runways don't seem to be supported.

so this behaviour is consistent. I just saw an aircraft land on one runway and hold on the runway as another aircraft was about to land on a different runway. so it seems when one runway is busy all other movement stops or at least doesn't start another movement.

saying that I just saw one aircraft (small prop) taxi onto a runway 24 and depart although the incoming traffic (747) hasn't cleared
the runway yet. That would never happen for real. you are given line up and wait instructions at maximum but runway has to be vacated beforehand.

those two fellows love formation flying at EHAM and kind off missed the runway too

so the formation is not legal. for the runway I need to double check if this might just be the airport scenery I have. would still be weird to have such a different runway alignment..

Just post hotfix2 (may install only .xpl files). hf2 save more info to log.txt
This may help us to catch CTDs.
