Folks

I am now able to successfully fly this excellent airplane without any CTD.

Using latest release 1.1r1, X-Plane 10, via steam (latest release ), using BSS sound and FMC plug in, I have now flown 3 flights with no CTD.

I reboot my computer each time (running Yosemite 10.3.3), go straight into X-Plane, select the airport I would like to start from loading the Cessna, I select a gate, then load the A330, cold and dark and all is good......never a hiccup.

no CTD´s now, but  I have some other problem
Nothing found on the BUGLIST,a little bit confused about the versions (something about cutted waypoints or missed waypoints) but I have none at all APPR´available at specific airports e.g LYTV (A320neo have one, RWY 32, e.g)!

I use default, Aerosoft NAVDATA Pro, and NAVIGRAPH Navdata (all new) without success !

sorry if already reported, as I said a found nothing about missing arrival routes and approaches !

Hi everyone.
I tried to install this new version, but the activation window didn't show up. I first removed the old version out of the heavy metal folder, the updated xplane to .36 and placed the plane in the folder. I was able to open the plane, but was not promped by the activation windows. Opening a default plane first, the changing to the A330 didn't do the trick. A reboot didn't either. So I re downloaded, again no luck. The old version works great. I don't know what else to do.
Running windows 8.1

sounds like you need to up date a service Pack or, a VBC++ up date ... do you have you auto-up-date on.

V1.1r1 does not work good with airfmc (Win7-64, xplane) . Some texts are missing. Latest Version of AirFMC + Plugin installed. IPad Air 2 used.

11 hour flight from Paris (LFPO) to Reunion Island (FMEE). Everything perfect, no CTD. Just incoherent landing weight indicated.
Took off at 223 tons with 76 tons of fuel, and the landing weight was predicted at 200 tons, which obviously was overweight.
The actual landing was 163 tons. Just a bug that can be easily ignored, but a fix would be nice smile

Fresh version of a330 send to AirFMC all needed data and it is "AirFMC ready". I think AirFMC need to be updated to be possible to show all correct. Its author work on it, as I know. Not need any changes from JARDesign side.

Against all odds ... a new try ... with X-Plane 10.36 !

Flight from KDTW to KBNA. Smooth sailing all the way down to the descent. At about FL130, X-Plane crashed to desktop when I pulled out the speed brakes.

Bummer! I really love this fine piece of work! One of my favorite aircraft. Please please fix it ...

We have beta 10.40 with "lua memory locker". When next a330 beta will come, we have a chance to get solution.

yes, I up-dated the XP to 10.40b2 and i am using A330 V1.1R1 right now it looks very nice there are some new thing in the setting to work with.

I ran a EDDL to EGLL just last night also, and using the 10.40b2 , yes the first try I did have a CTD but I over looked it and after that I had a very good flight I will be working on Flight 2 today ... usually it is the third flight after downloading a new copy of the aircraft and it does not matter which aircraft you are using that I have a CTD, so you might keep a look out for this ...

stable V1.1r1 and 2.4B
hope this helps and 10.40b2 is out for XP some aircraft might not work so check first but i am running A330 V1.1r1 and is ok so far but I haven't gotten to flight 3 it usually has a CTD then so I hope it has resolve the issue with this issue of XP.

Nevertheless, I also noticed that there are some other fixes that everyone will be very happy to see yet I do not want to be telling everyone to switch yet, until the developers have time to get the aircraft ready to up-date for the 10.40 XP...

Well, I talked to haversine support and got a new plugin for AirFMC, but not all problems are solved with the new plugin. They said that there is also a bug in the current v1.1r1 release and the A330 needs an update...

Good day,
I have used this aircraft with Navigraph data and found it to be very reliable I also use the Cloud charts that go with the data and I can pick out the SIS's and STAR's that I want to use with very good routes and no issues.

Since, I up-dated the X-Plane to version 10.40b2 any issues I did have with the A330 and non-issues so maybe if you can give some details on the issues you are having i might be able to help you out and get the aircraft up and flying the way it should and also JAR watches the posts so he can keep an eye on the issue and help if needed...

P.S. The pictures you are showing does not give me any information I can use I need the route info and SID and STAR used in the planning so i can fly the route to see if it is in the UFMC or something else... but i do not think it is the UFMC since, I have had many good flights.
