I'm using Aerosoft PFPX and copying the ATC route from my briefing package into a txt file, still getting segment errors despite having valid AIRAC installed, and manually entering the route has no issues. It's a long route so it's just a pain to entire every airway and waypoint.

Will try SB and see if it gives a similar route.


Hi I must say that I have not used yet a flight plan for going to USA from Europe .
I have been told to use GPS coordinates for such a flight .

That's the problem im having,im trying to do a long flight but everytime I go to upload the flight plan theres to many segment errors.

Okay...glad I'm not the only one.  After long flights, the engines won't shut down for me.  I turn off the fuel cut off switches and the engines spool down to idle...and stay there (and fuel pumps off doesn't help).  Hopefully the cause for this can be located.

If you have problem to shut down ask the co-pilot to do it - he knows!

I’m sorry, I quoted the wrong thread.

The problem I am having is when using reversers, and my engine EICAS and displays temporarily switch off. They are restored when my levers return out of reverse.

Sorry to say that I have the same issue with a fresh copy of R2.

It is as if my systems are switched off momentarily because when my reversers are brought back to idle, I can hear the cockpit startup sounds (from my BBS sound pack).

8/10 times flying the Jar A330 my sim crashes. Not happening with other aircraft. I want this fixed or I want my money back!

I'm happy for you, but it isn't my system.

As it happens, after this started to occur, I did a fresh installation of

- Windows 10
- X-Plane 11
- JARDesign A330

and the problem still occured.

I take off, fly a little while, but somewhere between 20 seconds and an hour after takeoff I get numerous warnings (for no apparent reason) and the sim crashes.

Also I'm fairly sure I've read somewhere others had the same problem.

Greetings busdrivers,

I have so far enjoyed my recent acquisition (A couple of days ago), but the thing that bugs me the most is that COM1 and COM2 tend to follow each other when tuning frequencies.

I also have a big problem since it's impossible for me to switch from one COM to the other (very handy when on VATSIM).

Any suggestions on what to do, or is it a known limitation? If that's the case, I'd hope for a "fix" soon.

What I'd noticed is that JARD A330 is very sensitive to other plugins. You need to deactivate all of them and try A330 on a naked X-Plane platform and then reactivate those you need except the one which appears to reproduce the fault.

I'd noticed too that it is almost the lone plane of my hangar to have such plugins compatibility problems.
I guess there are many different methods to access X-plane resources and to handle one's own flight model.

Dear developers,

First of all, I think from an exterior point of view the A330 is pretty well made. There is one thing that needs to be improved which are the tires of the landing gear (NLG and especially MLG). They need to be wider. Spot the difference, left real life, right JAR A330

For A330 main gear wheels it is
1400 x 530  R23
54 x 21.0-23
For front gear it is
1050 x 395 R16
no dimensions in inches

under Plane Maker dimensions are in feet
semi radius and semi width
for main gear it should be
2.25 x 0.83
for front gear it should be
1.72 x 0.64

On the JarDesign model :
the front gear wheels are too big
1.81 x 0.72 instead of 1.72 x 0.64
the main gear wheels are too small
2.03 x 0.75 instead of 2.25 x 0.83

- Black screens when using reverse thrust, screens restart again when throttles are idle.
- Black screens after departing with a turn around flight.
- I can't use the ECAM when the engines are not running.

This aircraft is not worth it for the money it costs.

Same here as well as the airplane is almost incapable of managing it's airspeed during descent

If you have an old or cracked version you obviously have these problems, I have never had these problems on my 330....
