delete old mac.xpl file and paste attached mac.xpl
Fixed 3d sound disable after apply sim pause.

Just flew KATL-KMCO, my regular test flight. This time no CTD with the V1r2+mac.xpl. Yeah !
Just the shortcomings of the MCDU. They are still there ... And the skyrocketing after take off ...

I mean windows version is same as mac os version. Because mac plugin version is not stable, windows on sale. For mac users we have 2 versions "full" and "non sasl".
Also today tip for mac os testing. After load plane change loading location on any ramp or gate in airport from location menu (2 flight today without CTD).

Another flight with no CTD's. This time from KMEM to KIAH at FL320 and a CI of 15. Version of the A330 is V1R2 with the new mac plugin for the 3D sound.
Weird stuff with the Navigraph cycle 1413 as with the Aerosoft cycle 1410: the WHACK TWO arrival into KIAH doesn't show the transition and is being replaced for the most part by the AEX 7 departure out of KIAH. It's known issue. It takes a lot of clicks to get rid of the faulty waypoints.
[I'm posting this in this topic because of the mac plugin. Feel free to move it to a more appropriate thread.]

i have had no issue to date other than the 1404 nav data issue which i was able to fix using the A320neo By JAR's NAVIGRAPH data I subscribe to, this was pointed out to me by another A330 user on the How to do... and now i will replace the //* mac.xpl file and paste attached mac.xpl //

P.S. replaced the XML sound..
Had CTD after this because of Sasl issues and this is not just this aircraft just about fed- up with the whole "Sasl" issue!

I changed one thing in the setup (see above). I used the 1504 cycle of navdata by Navigraph, in stead of the 1413 cycle.
This time I crashed to desktop (after take off, flying the departure (SID) MMUGS1 out of KIAH33R), when I tried to delete a pseudo or temporary waypoint that the JAR A330 creates further down the flight plan.
It's IMHO a SASL-related crash. The X-Plane log text is my first clue ...

What version? With no_SASL_sound?
As I see - OpenAl reason.
Same setup as above, so the V1r2 + the 'new' mac.xpl, as listed above.
I'm on MAC I tried my first flight twice and had 2 CTD one on the ground and one in the air.
Also the beacon is not working.

One thing, Please try these steps for a clean start of the X-Plane APP :
1) re-start your computer then, after the XP starts and you select the A330 and the starting Airport scenery go to step; (2)
2) on the plugins go to the "plugin manager" and turn off all plugins that you are not using on the flight i.e. the scenery plugins and the "World Traffic" plugin if you have it, just use the plug in that the A330 need to run. then go to step (3),
3) set-up your Flight Plan and see what you get. I hope you have a good flight!
