Topic: Programming FMC

Trying to add waypoints in JAR A330 FMC.  Dep/Arr airports programmed, Sid & Star selected.   Attempt to add waypoint by typing waypoint value and clicking on 'Flight Discontinuity'  "Not allowed"
Okay some Airbus FMS want to add the waypoint by clicking on the last entered waypoint.  Still "Not allowed"   Grrr

This issue is no present in JAR A320.  Any ideas?

I figured it out.  A defined SID had to be entered at departure airport.
