Topic: LEMD 2.0

Hi,

i have worke 5 hours on this scenery with X-Life Editor:
https://forums.x-plane.org/index.php?/f … d-barajas/

After that i had to notice that most parking stands are misaligned and that there is a bug in X-life Airport editor.
Could someone who is good in using WED try to make an X-life file for this scenrey? Would be much appreciated.

i checked in WED, it seams like everything it is set correctly. There was a couple of stands where the aircraft are not aligned perfectly but nothing major. It already comes with traffic, you just have to fix a couple of issues. i made a video how to use x life airport editor. You might want to check it out.

Re: LEMD 2.0

i know what is the problem, i just realized. You are looking at this airport traffic : https://forums.x-plane.org/index.php?/f … aja-spain/

In your X Plane 10 or 11/resources/plugins/X-Life/Airports you will have LEMD.dat , LEMD.txt witch are downloaded in your computer automatically when turning on the X-Life. Those 2 files are available on JarDesign servers.

https://www.google.com/maps/d/viewer?mi … 15&z=6

If you saved your progress you will have another file in the same folder called LEMD.xlf. Unfortunately the 2 files from JarDesign server will overwrite yours. Even if you delete the 2 files, will get back to the folder the moment you come online.
Delete the .dat and .txt files and disconnect from the internet before starting X-Life.Now you should see your .xlf traffic.
Let me know if that fix the issue.

Re: LEMD 2.0

Hi thanks for answering. What i did is load up the Airport in xplane. After finished loading i startet X-Life. Autoupdate for airport files will run. Then i deleted all LEMD-files (dat txt xlf) and copied over apt.dat and renamed it to „LEMD.dat“. Then i started Airport Editor which will quite correctly generate all Taxiroutes, Stands etc. But the bug is that the airport editor shows the parking stands and taxiroute lines (especially for the south terminal) misaligned to the markings.
At the first time i started to correct this and aligned all stands and markings with airport editor to match all the positions. After that i noticed that all positions where correct initially and its a display bug of airport editor which just screwed up all the work.
