Nice video!
Why you use the 2º APilot? I never use it, only 1 and APPR.

Great scenery! I only wish that the video sequence would stay real...
Thank you for your comments.
ComRPM : You must use the 2nd APilot when the ILS is CAT 2 or 3.
ilankrt : The video is real, the sequence and editing "outside" is the replay of the approach from the inside. For the wind speed look and the direction of the aircraft logo compared to the ilankrt in the MD.
sorry for my english "french".
Best regards.
Peter092@ I meant that the outside view was recorded at higher framerates ......
X-Life brings XP alive sometimes with very exciting situations. On one of my last flights with A330 another airliner at same altitude was flying before me coming quickly more and more near, so I had to made a slightly turn right to avoid collision...
Whaouuuh, well done !!!
JAR A330 on route and landing
I watched your video with great attention and pleasure.
I do appreciate landings in "exterior sight" a lot. You were able to create a virtual camera motion that looks very real.
Just one question : during landing, when the wheels touch the ground why don't the spoilers go out ? Thank you in advance.

Peter092@ In fact the spoilers deployed as they should automatically after I retarded thrust to 0 at 10ft before touch down. This short video was made afterwards from the record. Unfortunately we can never see the deployed spoilers in a recorded landing and I don't know who to blame for it.
BTW after landing sometimes I used to stop simulation while aircraft rolls out to look from outside if the spoilers are deployed. Anther way of checking it is to retract spoilers and if you hear the announcement "spoilers retracted" it means that they were deployed...
Unfortunately we can never see the deployed spoilers in a recorded landing and I don't know who to blame for it.
Here is the solution to have the spoilers deployed during the video replay:
Leave the flaps out. You do your landing normally then you go out of the runway, you put the spoilers back in but you don't touch the flaps.
Watch my video above and you'll see that the spoilers are deployed during the replay.
Try it and keep me informed.
