Topic: WHY DOES THIS PLUGIN FREEZE THE SIM???
Can anyone tell me why this plugin stalls the sim completely for about 8-10 seconds on my machine on the initial loading of the simulator???

Not much more I can explain really. With the ground services loaded into the plugins folder the sim freezes after the load of the plane for 8-10 seconds, without the plugin it does not!! Lots of other people having the same problems...

You should attach the zipped "log.tx" file to your post .The log.tx file is located in the root folder of x-plane and is regenerated every time you use X-Plane.

I can't seem to see anything that will cause the sim to freeze.
I loaded up the sim to the point I was in the cockpit. The sim froze for about 10 seconds and then came back to life and then i closed the sim and retrieved the log.
Here it is :-) Hope u can spot something that I can't

If yes , the "freeze is normal" .

I'll try again to add the file and NO x-life is not installed. It only does NOT freeze when you take the ground services plugin out of the folder.

I have not seen anything able to produce such a freeze ...
(May be a .lua script ?)
I suggest you open a ticket on "Support" forum in the GHD section .(Include your also the log.txt .)

have the same problem. Also every time i start X-plane 11.02 the ground handling will not work until I have reloaded my airplane. Its is a stupid fault in I hope you can fix it in a upcoming update.

Jar did reply to my ticket saying that this is normal and the freeze is due to the loading of all the files for the plugin. I'm not convinced!! If this is the case, I'm sure there could be a better way of loading the files without having the sim stop completely for 10 seconds.
