Topic: Sticky planes solved

http://jardesign.org/forum/img/m/2415/t/p1amedgihm1ofb1vmj1crc7in1t13.jpg

As seen in the above screen-shot, I am seeing these sticky planes either during landings or take offs? See also videos:

Anyone else seeing what I see?

Good day,
I took a look at the log and you have an issue with one of your libraries so, you need to update it here is the code from the log;

Failed to find resource 'Fruitstand_Aircraft/A310F_THYc.obj', referenced from scenery package 'Custom Scenery/_LTAU_Erkilet/'.

So, you need to up-date the //* Fruitstand library /// and this should help to solve just some of your issues.

next I found this and I know which plugin it is i just do not know what the code means. :

XSB WARNING: package 'D:\Win10\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\X-Plane 10\Resources\plugins\X-IvAp Resources\CSL\.svn' could not be opened.

So, see if you can find out about this and fix the library then see where you are at.

if you need more help the right posting is over on the other posting site in X-life if you could please.

thanks much,
Brian

Hey Brian,

Thanks for the help.
The missing a/c problem is solved (I was testing my scenery without the TFS library too see if the scenery would open without it so I forgot to put the library back in the custom scenery folder.
The other error msg was caused by an empty folder in the CSL folder (which I was aware of and thought it was a part of the csl folder). After deleting it and running the csl updater to check for any errors or missing csl, the sim started without a problem.
Now I am running the plugin with B747-8i and I will do a test flight between LTAU-LTFE to see if I get one of those sticky planes again.
Also my apologies for posting this problem here under this subject, I got messed up with using correct site.
Regards,
Hayri

Good day,
Great to here you are up and running I feel I have done what I set out to do.
I do not have all the answers but this is why we have a team here and with out the team we could not have the best plugin that JAR developed.

Nevertheless, for that I have to thank the rest of the Team for their work and support also.

Happy Flying,
Brian

Re: Sticky planes solved

I saw a couple of 747s land this week, they were flying backwards then at 50ft they turned into a single engine GA aircraft flying the right direction and landed. Not a problem, I just thought it was funny. smile

Good day.

So, could we get some documentation on this not saying it did not happen but so JAR can work to fix the issue.
Happy Flying,
Brian

Re: Sticky planes solved

Unfortunately, although I thought this problem was solved, apparently it did not. I was testing a scenery today while this happened again so I could not take the copy of log.txt but I will do next time I see this again at any airport.

Yes next time this happens I will post the log. It has only happened at Malaga Airport for me where GA aircraft mix with heavies.

Re: Sticky planes solved

This issue is caused by XL somehow superimposing the A/C you have selected in >Aircraft>Aircraft & Situations>Other Aircraft onto XL selected AI A/C. It occurs from about 5km from runway on landing and sometimes just after takeoff where random A?C (747, Cessna etc) appear .

Fix ????? (temporary)
Delete all the AI Aircraft in >Aircraft>Aircraft & Situations>Other Aircraft and then the error does not occur anymore.

Not sure why XL does this but stops superimposed A/C occurring but think is probably a bug in XL somewhere?

Hope this helps????
