Topic: CYXC x-life compatible

Hi,

I am having trouble sorting out my taxiroutes to make my freeware scenery CYXC x-life compatible would someone be able to help me out.

My scenery is at the following link:

I will attach the .dat and .txt files to this post.

I see static planes when I load x-life but nothing happens with the planes they never move and there are no planes landing or taking off.

Any help greatfully received.

Hi !

1) you did not connect the stands to the atc route.

    So there is no way from stand to runway.

2) The ATC-Route to the stands is OneWay.

    Nobody can leave the stand.

3) You tried to declare a taxyway as runway but this won't work.

    That's the message "Scenery Error ...."

4) you made some ATC Ways much too exact, you don't need that.

I'll make some changes to your ATC routes and if it's working I'll send the airport to you :-)

thanks for your help if you could change whatever is needed in my airport to get xlife working that would be great.  i will mention your help on my airport page if you can get it working.

Hi !

I changed / corrected your ATC routes, but there is still a problem with traffic.

I've added 8 gates/stands, and if x-life fills 3 gates with planes (5 gates empty) I get 1 plane landing,
taxiing to gate and parking. The plane uses ATC routes, so looks good and correct.

But there is no plane leaving at the moment, so if the airport is filled 50% (4 from 8 gates) traffic stops.

I need some further investigation :-)

ok thanks for the update,  it would look better if it looked like a real functioning airport so hopefully you will be able to get it working.

Hi !

I have 2 ideas what *could* be a problem.
- maybe the connection from taxiway to runway could be problematic.
  this is easy to check
- maybe it's a problem with a via in airac cycle, which prevents the A320 to get a complete flight plan.
  I'll fake a via so we will see what happens

If both does not work -> Mr. Romanov has to take a look at it :-) to get it working.
