I seem to be having problems with my xlife plugin. The atis page is very basic and does not show any weather data whatsoever. I am using FS Global Real Weather and Skymaxx pro.

Any help would be appreciated

I seem to be having problems with my xlife plugin.After installing the program, the online reading of the software is very slow, xpalne will be stuck, and the weather data read is incomplete, and it will wait more than 10 minutes each time it starts or reads data. I need to unplug my network card to continue.

I just had to re-download X-Life and looking at the version running I'm seeing v231219, has there been an update not showing on the list. I can't see this version on the update list.
When I shut down XP with this version I get a message saying, X-Plane 11.41r1 quit unexpectedly, this started happening a couple of updates back, v250719 I get no message on shut down of XP, no idea what's causing the problem. Having said that X-Life works fine during a flight.

Hi.  First of all, great plugin!  I'm running XPlane11 on an unfortunately old CPU (i7 920!), yet XPlane (and XLife) is running quite well (30+ FPS, with good graphic settings).  I previously never had other planes around, as my CPU couldn't handle it, so this plugin is a real blessing.  Thanks!

Everything seems to run just fine, except one thing...  When I EXIT XPlane, it seems (perhaps XLife) causes Windows to (soft) crash, as well as XPlane.  XPlane will just sit there, with the spinning 'busy' mouse pointer, and if I TAB out (only possible if I CTRL+ALT+DEL to get the Task Manager, which then lets me TAB), I see the Windows Stopped Responding type of Win alert, as well as an alert for XPlane.  Clicking on Close Program on the XPlane alert allows me to then exit and then just close the Windows alert.  Windows is then running just fine... just a messy exit out of XPlane.  Happens every time, since I installed XLife, so I'm assuming that's the cause.  I'll have to do some tests.

My specs:
Win7 Premium, i7 920 (yikes), 12gigs RAM, XPlane11 (Steam version), NVidia GTX 1060 3G
XPlane Plugins: 124thATC, XCamera, XLife (Free), XRealistic, and the LAU LOD mod... all previously working just fine together, so it seems that (for whatever reason) XLife is having some trouble on exit.

Again, everything seems to be running really nicely, until I actually exit XPlane.

I've attached the Log file.  I'm not sure where to find the dump file, though.

I hope someone might be able to tell me what might be specifically causing the 'crashes' on exit.

I'm considering getting the Deluxe version, but I want to address this issue first.

first thanks for the great xlife plugin.
I had a problem in LIRP today. In front of me four airplanes were waiting for a CRJ2 at runway 04R. After 10 minutes the plane came in, but turned off again at 400 ft. This procedure was repeated and no aircraft was cleared for take off. Can you please check this?
Second thing:
With me on the Mac the same problem as colinah. When I finish XPlane I get a unexpected quit message.

You could go with mouse klick on text line and then go with right coursors to the end of the line to saw all plan.
For JAR planes is no problem to export to FM with press export button send to FM.
For other plane is better to make plan with Simbrief an then export to txt file for X-life and another to format that your plane use for flight plan.

the cursor thing won't work, seems like what is shown in the textline is what you get, not more.
i am aware there is flightplanning tools outside the sim, but this is against my will to have a complete sim, not many fractioned applications apart from each other. A flight sim should include the whole process, from weather and route planning to weight and balance, fueling, passenger count, atc, etc. etc.
it's 2020, and time to get things done better.

if you transfer the flight plan from another source, you will net be able to have the x-life atc leading you,
unless type the whole flight plan twice or more. that is why things should be integrated (1 process).

so, you are saying the x-life flight plan is transferable to the JAR A330 but not the IXEG 737 ?

I have exactly this experience when I want to edit RJAA.xlf for Narita, RJAA. After clicking Airport Editor I get a CTD. Not sure how to avoid it, but mine happens in #GATES/STANDS INFO, so I suspect it will disappear when I have edited the gates.
