[ Closed ] JD320 Airliner ver 3.2 r1,r2 WIN/MAC 64 bit (X-Plane 11) (Page 13 of 14)

Hi, I have XP11.11 and A320 3.2r2.
When I start a flight I have a SASL warning error, and no engine showing/no version written on the panel.
I tried to remove every other plugin, same error. XP11.20b3 gives the same error also.

Any idea ?

EDIT : I donwloaded and unzipped fresh version and it works, now. Must have messed something up

Hello, i have the complete JARDesign suite, i am wondering or actually would love to see if it is planned/possible to make the A330 MCDU/COMM Features also for the A320 ?

I mean the MCDU Menu with GND Handling, Fuel/Load, Pushback, Doors, also the MECH and PA functions (communicate with pushback, Cabin Crew and Cockpit Announcements)

Test flight SBFL - SBSP (Brazil): Back from the A330 that is now flying perfectly to the A320 that constantly "suffers from teething problems". They became less and less but The A320 is not yet immune.

1. I have problem with the view from the captain sit. Also try the wide angle did not bring satisfactory results. The sit view must somehow be more up front and a little higher in order to improve the look to the outside and have the AP functions up to APPR in the corner of my eye without having to constantly change the view with the keys. This is immense important especially at approach and landing.

2. On approach just before catching the ILS, there were two narrow 90º turns. At the first one there was the deceleration point. As a precaution I have already reduced speed to 200 kt, but since the two 90º turns did not show the route as a curve, the plane flew straight on. The 200 kt speed was obviously too high. It obviously lacks an algorithm that in this case automatically converts the 90º angles into a curve ....

I really wish to see in future all the improvements that were made for the A330 also realised in the A320....

i bought the a320 from JD today after i had it on xp10.

but with the installation there is now pop-up to register the serial.
i tried to delete the files several times and put a clean new instalation agaain and again.

can someone give me a explain why it doesnt go well with this install??
never had any prolems with the a330 but this new a320 is a bitch to install

Generally it is depends from X-Plane settings.

good evening after 6 months Igot to fly the A320 JD again  and I still see 2 major things in the aircraft , 1. The plane goes off the VNAV path  out of no where it just dont follow the path it is supposed to. and the second issue is the stability. Honestly I dont see any stability improvement on this aircraft specially on approaches it is not an stable aircraft goes to the sides  so when is time for landing is very hard to have an smooth flare and you end up over floating the runway or just have a very hard landing. It is on-sad that a very expensive aircraft have this type of issues for this very long time.

"We will fix this" .. does this say, that we see an update for the JD320 some day ?

It seems that development of this aircraft is really dead

That makes me sad, i liked the idea to fly with a helping FO,
but with the frequent problems like SASL errors/broken displays/nav does not follow flight plan, ....
its no fun

For me this aircraft is the threshold what i expect from other JAR aircrafts. This is
the reason why i dont spend a cent to get the A330. Andit will be same for upcoming new products.

Here's another idea.....in the A320Neo just like the selectable wingtips in the MCDU, why not have a selectable Taxi/Landing Lighting?

Let me dream a little about a new JD320

- more stability than V3 .. i think this can be fixed with remove of SASL like the A330

- remove of the endless clicking sound when pressing r/l arrow keys in FMC where they are not valid

- Usage of Xp11 navdata, i dont like it to have x positions with different navdata .. its not so good when different part of sim uses different data (Aircraft, traffic/atc addin, external map app, ....)

- a jacket for the FO, i like it cold in my cockpit big_smile

- airport nav map on nd .. i have seen this on a real A321 video .. i think JAR has the base technique, because of FMCar

- all rotation knobs rotate right for mouse wheel up and rotate left for down .. current version is not consistent

- move switches with mouse wheel too (esp. multi position switches)

- more realistic speeds/flight physic .. i dont think that every managed decent needs Speedbrakes  "we need more drag sir"

- moveable MCDU, undockable, to second screen

- performance calculator (V Speeds, CG, ZFGW, runway length, runway condition, to shift, ...)

- default x-camera preset

- both cockpit seats filled with people for outside view .. best selectable female/male

- transparent schematic throttle display (when moving throttle) as overlay on main screen to better hit clb and flex

- better handling of following flights without reload aircraft

- better handling of in flight changes of destination

- better resume of f-pln navigation after manual HDG or DCT

- handling of TOGA, fly go around part of STAR, return to F-PLN after TOGA
