Topic: How to create the txt file

I clearly understood how to export the apt.dat file from WED. But what is this txt file that one must create? I see people placing XXXX.dat and XXXX.txt both in the Xlife/Airport folder.

With the deluxe version, when you are in the gate editor and click save, it will save information to the text file.
