the BBS soundpack actually works on XP11 with windows. I made two folders of the Jar to compare with and without and after installing the folders as per manual (can be confusing)  you can hear the difference in the engine starting up, and spooling up when going to full throttle.

as someone pointed out during the first beta I copied everything in the mac folder of BBS to the aircraft plugins folder. Try it out it should work.

Someone stated they can change between engines?

Hey i downloaded the Beta 4 today and have XP11 pb8

As i want to start i cant rotate the knob for the Altitude Autopilot.
How did u manage that?

After XP11 restart worked....

Now, when I start the autostartsystem, the engine didnt start and I can see only the yellow sign: wait......[

After my test flight, the left engine starts after cut off, when I switched off the apu.

Hello,
I can't set up a pitch trim before takeoff. It stay 0 an it should be 3,5. Similar problem during manual flight, a pitch trim slowly goes to 0 so i keep triming. I use xsaitekpanels 2,58 plugin. regards przemek

You may remove your saitek for a time. If will be ok with THS - saitek is a sourse of issue. Please check.

during takeoff throttle stocked ! could not remove, not with the mouse and not with Saitek throttle quadrant after
repeatedly calibration...

Does anybody know what is the correct heading range from the auopilot heading knob ?

I'm relatively sure that it is from 000 deg to 359 deg.

At the moment it is from 001 to 360 deg.

You should download from xplane org store. My version works. Hm Its version 2.0 for trent 700. But PW sound pack is version 1.1. I didnt have it installed for a while. I try it now.

The problem is BSS use some datarefs in their config files wich not exist yet in XP11.
So...

Open folder: BSS/custom/cockpit

edit the sound.cfg with a text editor
On first line,
you have: mastervolume_dataref=sim/custom/xap/snd/coc_vol_01
Replace with: mastervolume_name=COCKPIT

BSS/custom/engines
Replace with: mastervolume_name=ENGINE

BSS/custom/flctrl
Replace with: mastervolume_name=FLCTRL

BSS/custom/gpu
Replace with: mastervolume_name=GPU

Others folders are good.

Now you can copy custom folder in: 330_JARDesign v2.0b3\plugins\sound3d\

You will have all the faders in sound menu for set the a330
Adjust volume like you want

When I compare with the A320 there are more sound.cfg files to be edited I guess:

Using A330 2.0b4 with XP11pb I experienced that I can not extend the spoilers/ speedbrakes.
The cockpit says "Spoilers full" and I hear the sound like having spoilers out, but they are not moving.

Had a similar issue. I couldn't extend speedbrakes on the ground with engines off. Turned out I had the electric hydro pumps turned off. When engine is running the engine hydro pumps should be on automatically and the electric pumps can be turned off.

I recognised, that the pushback truck starts to pushback when the park brake is set.
I voice "Release parking brake, please!" would be cool.
Also great would be a voice "Set parking brake, please!" when the parking brake is not set and the user tries to remove the truck.

There is actually a voice that says exactly what you want. You just have to click on the right button on the radio (it's highlighted when the tractor docks and there is alert sound). The video on YouTube Eugeny recorded a while ago shows it all.

I don't understand why you need to edit it. Did you install the windows version of the sound pack? did you try moving the mac version of the sound pack into the folders? As this works fine for me  without having to edit anything. The mac folder structure is already very similar to the A330 original plugins folder

Hi JAR,

I have 2 more bugs in the A330, at least I think so :-)

1) FMC VIA always inserted (old bug still there):

When programming an arrival route (STAR) the FMC asks for a VIA to insert. Regardless to the answer,
the VIA is inserted in the flight plan. Even if you say "no via" the via is inserted.

Easy reproducable in "EDLP", the VIA PAD1 is directly on the airport making the route not usable. Even if you select "no via" the VIA is inserted and you have to delete it afterwards by hand.

2) FMC managed mode sinkrate goes to infinity

Usually in autopilot mode you can select a vertical rate from -3000 to 3000 ft/min.

In managed mode, this can be much more.....

a) Program a route, say EDDH to EDDL. Set SID/STAR, FL300.
b) Takeoff, do the flight until "TOD"
c) just wait some time, say 2-5 Minutes. keep current height, FL300
d) Set new height, say 10000 ft.

What happens: the FMC calculates a vertical rate to reach the height from the current waypoint. This calculation does not respect the limit.

Yesterday i did a flight which leads to >7500ft/min sinkrate :-) Sure, overspeed included :-)

By the way, sinkrates >8000 ft/min are not shown in the PFD..

There is a delay about some seconds between the display of the altitude in A320/A330 in the cockpit to my hardware-displays.
I checked the datarefs, but couldn't solve the problem yet.

It's not possible to push or pull the buttons of the autopilot of A320/A330 with a key command. If I use a joystick-button to push or pull the buttons in the cockpit, it works. So, the datarefs are okay.
