Thanks JAR. I reviewed the scenery files for NZCH and noticed that the ATIS frequency for the ATIS did not agree with the NZCH charts published by NZAIP so I updated the ATIS frequency and the issue has gone away. It looks like X-Life perhaps could not get a QNH for this airport and used the Standard QNH of 1013.

I am trying to use the ATC with the FF 777, But when i try to import flight plan from FMS , it doesnt recognize the aircraft, is there a way to make it recognize the aircraft, or does it only work with JAR design aircraft ?

Hi,I tryed the X-Life and the aircraft when im in the runway,it lands over me,and also,i downloaded the X-Life LEBL and LEPA airports,and when i get in my arrival airport,there is no aircraft.Why?I need to say that its a really good plugin in the ground,but in other situations i dont know if i am doing anithing bad or what happens.

Hello,
I was flying with "your" Airbus A330 on The "Pyrénées" close to Toulouse and X-Plane crashed. X-Life seems to be responsible... It's not the first "crash" in this area in the same condition...
I use X-Plane 10, 10.45 version and X-Life ver1.1r5.

is AI taxiing completely broken or is it just my experience? go through the process; clearance delivery, request start up and push back. get pushed back and start up, everything set up and then go to taxi and the taxi ways are just littered with AI planes waiting for me? obviously i'm like 5th in line to depart but the AI planes are waiting for me to go while I'm waiting for them.

Try X life from EIDW-EGLL it generates a flight plan of over 3000 miles!!!!!!!!!!!! then CTD!
I've raised this with JAR awaiting a reply.

first of all.. i really enjoy this plugin - it brings so much life to xplane. Well done!
But I´ve got a question about the use of SIDS and STARS. Does X-Life use Navigraph data?
My flightplan was : KATL - LUCKK - SZW - KMIA
Using the last waypoint SZW my star should really have been SSCOT3 but X-Life to me to expect ANNEY3. I find this very strange, because SZW ist not a member of the ANNEY3 Star.
I also don´t get any kind of SID instruction - only "via departure".

i am just a brand new user to x-life and a like it very much so far. Recently i tried a flight under ATC control and it proceeded very well. But what i am missing is, that i didn't get any vectoring at all! What i want to know now is, did i miss something or is this the way how x-life ATC works.

The crazy EIDW to EGLL route has been an issue for some time. You can always create a route and save it to the XLife flight plans folder and then load it into XLife rather than have it create the plan.

Hello I picked up the deluxe version a few days back and really just now starting to use it. The problem I am having is that the moment it starts up and i see other aircraft im loosing on average 15-20 fps. I average well over 45+ frames normally without it but I do not know exactly why i'm losing so much.
Additionally, I have put the slider all the way to the far left so that it generates just a few aircraft and still the same. Is there something I am missing or need to do.

Have you set the number of aircraft in XP to 1? Don't remember off the top of my head which menu item but it has to do with AI aircraft. I found that if I let XP generate AI aircraft then my fps tank badly.

Thanks for the reply, I do infact have all ai aircraft set to 1. I could try to set to another number to see if it helps to which it isnt anything i have tried. However, if i recall it needs to be set at 1 and again, whether the slider is set at its minimum all the way to %150 the results are the same. Plenty of ai, but FPS just tanks.

I am also having this problem. I can't for the life of me get SID instructions. Just this via departure message. My routes seem to be correct though, I don't know what is wrong. Did you put the SID and STAR "tags" in the route you sent to ATC?

Some scenery has the routes incorporated into the apt.dat file in th scenery folder. That's why they work without a .dat file.

I believe, you only get traffic if you are close to an airport with ATC Taxi Routes.
I'm not sure if the airport has be JAR approved or not. Try it out with approved and not approved airports. I fly a lot out of KBOS and always get traffic when I am close to KBOS. Same with KEWR.

If the airports along your route have proper ATC Taxi Routes you should have traffic along your route.

Jar's standing policy with betas is pretty much use at your own risk. Logically, it makes little sense in them devoting time energy and bandwidth into working on anything during beta because the program is not stable. I am hopeful they're busy learning what they need to change for now. and when the time comes will start pushing updates.
