Topic: My impressions with X-Life

Hello Gang!

I wanted to express my impressions with X-Life and gather if I am off the mark in terms of what I see:

1.  Magnificent effort and worth the $$$.  Tremendous potential with this plugin.
2.  It would be great if in a future version the AI could be customized to match the airport/region.
3.  Audio implementation would be great so we could hear the communication with the tower.
4.  AI without having to do a flight plan would be great as well.  Fire up the airport and you get AI traffic.
5.  Create a flight plan that would include an airport that is not in the X-Life airports DB would be great as well.

Again, I think that given the state of the ATC system from X-Plane, this makes for a great V1 with X-Life.  Thoughts?

Yes, just one thought  "Trolling" LOL ...
just too much fun LOL ...


Since, I have been Beta testing this since the start I just know how good it works and Just how big the project X-Life is so Please you do not have to make lists to tell the best Beta Team in X-Plane how to improve the plugin that they are working so very hard on for several months now and yes they do deserve every pat on the back but the project leader and developer JAR Design Group know in what direction to go with the plugin and reads everyone of the post and you might not get a response but everything is taken into account.

Even though I appreciate your reply, I do not share your opinion that my post was a "trolling" post...........you totally misunderstood my post.  If you read it carefully one more time you will find no negative criticism of the plugin, in fact the first thing I do is praise its contribution.  JarDesign can do whatever they please with the plugin and take it in whatever direction they feel; my intention was to simply post what my personal opinion is of future functionality that could take the plugin to the next level...........that's it!

The "Trolling" comment was only meant as a tease as some times on the computer it is taken the wrong way though, as I do have many that have been mean spirited because, of the communication issue. I did not find anything negative the first time I read the post either ...

I find when people tell the team of developers and testers that have been working on a plugin for I would say 18 months now if not longer how to go to the next step well, I just don't know how to communicate it we as a team work very well and are a team that knows how to get a job done and move from one level to another.

Since, this plugin has move from beta to rc 1.0  and rc 1.0r1  so would you not agree that your personal  the opinion on the X-Life plugin is always welcome but the team also know what we need to do  and are already working an several goals ...
so, thank-you very much for your input and I won't be so harsh but I do defend the team and the very good work they are doing.
