Topic: Making my home airport

Followed the video tutorial. When I try and start traffic at my home airport (CYZX) it says "not a X-life" verified airport.

Did you guys set this program that only airports that you guys have verified can be put into x-life.

If so, how are people supposed to test their airports if they have to wait for you guys to test and verify each airport OR am I doing something wrong.

You're wrong - you can use your own built apt.dat file using WED and named "ICAO".dat and copied to Resources/plugins/X-Life/Airports with X-Life. I did so and everything works like it should. There's just the short red message, that the airport is not verified when loading, not more - it's just for notice. I uploaded mine now to be verified in future, but I can fly to/from these airports with traffic and ATC without problems.

Thanks. I must be doing something wrong because I can't use ATC, I get no traffic, can't start/edit the gates etc.

Did you have to manually put the "ICAO".dat and .txt files in the airports.txt file, because when I do, and start XP, XP removes them from the file.

Been trying to get this to work for 2 days now. No traffic, when I try to edit gates it doesn't even pop up like the supported airport. Tried to enter a flightplan, doesn't do anything.
