I had low expectations about this aircraft and I'm still disappointed. You simply took the A330, lengthened the fuselage, slapped two new engines and a landing gear and released it. You made no effort to make any improvements at all. I can't wait for Toliss to release its A340 so I can uninstall it.

You want to know something: If you at least overcome what you call 'X-Plane limitations', which all the other developers have managed to overcome but you, especially in replay mode, I'll be satisfied. But I have little hope that you will make it. You will probably released another broken aircraft before thinking about fixing the existing ones.

It's embarrassing for you that I have to come here to report a bug that I reported in the A330 thread because the A340 also has...

- In replay mode, spoilers do not extend or retract. They stay in the position they were in before activating the replay.

But you managed to introduce two new bugs in replay mode.

- V/S knob clicking itself multiple times, producing an annoying clicking noise. Sometimes it stops when the aircraft touches the ground and sometimes it keeps clicking even after exiting replay mode.

- After exiting the replay mode, the engines go to full throttle, even if the throttle lever is at 0%.

So, are you going to fix it or blame the 'X-Plane limitations' and leave it at that?

What they write here is absolute bullshit and they lie that you bend bars. If you are not satisfied then do not buy it. Romanov is the best support developer there is. Then buy an xbox and fly MS2020 and don't talk shit here. Or play Fortnite

Spoiler during replay! Jd330 and 340 have this problem. The replay is too strange! This needs to be repaired as soon as possible! I hope jardesign is getting better and better

Also ich finde auch, dass "edu2703" ziemlich übertrieben "vom Leder zieht". Das wird einem Entwicklerteam wie JAR Design nun wirklich nicht gerecht.

Woran man bei JAR Design allerdings dringend arbeiten sollte ist, dass man die Kundenwünsche und Anregungen ernster nimmt, aber zumindest darauf eingeht. Beispiel: Die schon lange geforderte Frachter Variante der A330. Oder eine A321.

Jedenfalls bin ich, mit beiden, der A320 und der A330 sehr zufrieden und werde mir sicher auch die A340 von JD zulegen.

Noch einen Tip an "edu2703": Erstmal in den Spiegel schauen und die eigene Perfektion abfragen.

I fully agree with ULFT and gigabenga!
Romanov is an excellent developer, and I very like to fly his A330 & A320 as one of my favorite aircraft!

I'm going to order his JARDesign A340-500 today.

JD340-500Airlin.set file already in aircraft folder. GHD can read it directly from this folder.

The reason for this is X-Plane replay mode can not play back custom datarefs (we use custom for this), but should. Already talk with Ben Supnik (LR lead coder) about this, he promise, but still not done.

Thank you very much! But why did the spoiler display normally in the early version of jd330 and other aircraft during replay? Is there any other way?

Not sure where to post this?

Just did my first flight and on landing approach about 250 ft from the runway the engines went from approach mode to full thrust without any command from me i had to manually disconnect auto throttle and bring the thrust back down. also upon touchdown had to manually deploy the speed brakes as they did not deploy and were armed before hand still no deployment. Also when using auto land function the plane did not flare at all and hit the ground at about -654 fpm. overall i think it a good plane but still needs a few tweaks.

You were still lucky. My attempt to use the autoland function ended with the aircraft starting to deviate from the G/S at about 1000 ft AGL and suddenly pitching the nose down at about 15-20°. Speed was on target and there was no icing. Not even disconnecting the AP and pulling the stick did the aircraft pitch up again.

I think we can call this the 'kamikaze bug'.

First wanted to thank you for all the amazing work with these planes, I am simming since 1990 and at the current stage you as developer have taken it is just brilliant. Have done some test taxi,flight, landing and the A340 handles amazing. Thank you for all the hard work.
