Re: JD320 Airliner ver 3.6 WIN/MAC 64 bit (X-Plane 11.50/11.41)

UPDATE YOU NAV DATA WITH FRESH CYCLE (if needed)
If you need to update your cycle, please use Aerosoft/Navigraph
- “JARDesign 330/330 Native format” and put a new cycle to ../X-PLANE 11/Custom Data/GNS430/navdata/ folder (create it if need)

I have now Navigraph nav data and cycle 2012 is nativ(manual download and install) for JD 320/330.
Unzip to ../X-Plane 11/Custom Data/GNS430
The Folder navdata make Navigraph self.

Re: JD320 Airliner ver 3.6 WIN/MAC 64 bit (X-Plane 11.50/11.41)

Hi! when there is gusting winds or turbulence the rudder starts to move left and right by itself. And that causes the plane to shake very unrealistic. And the plane is almost impossibe to land when that happens. Please fix this issue its the only thing i want. Im praying that this will get fixed soon!

It has a very close relationship with the new electrical system, so they will come out together when first one will be finished.

hello to all,

The technical specifications of the Airbus A320 NEO with PW1100 give a fuel capacity of 26730 liters.
On my 320, I can put only 19,000 liters independently of the ZFW.
Is there a solution to increase the fuel capacity?
Thank you

Re: JD320 Airliner ver 3.6 WIN/MAC 64 bit (X-Plane 11.50/11.41)

Hello,

I got a big problem today. First time I fly 3.6R4 version. I ran RC1 before.
I was on LFKB STAR NIRD1R ILS34.
ATC asked me a direct to BTA within the STAR, and that cleared all the arrival on FMC.
I tried 2 times, same result.

I'm going to try RC2

Hi,

Strange, RC2 supposed to fix vertical profile which I never got bad with RC1 but today with RC2 STAR LUME8K LFSB, the vertical profile was REALLY strange!

Hello,

I don't know if it's a problem of if FMC doesn't support the feature but FCOM4 says that APPROACH PHASe is automatically activated if:
Overflying (DECEL) pseudo waypoint with NAV (or LOC*ILOC) mode engaged
AND
Altitude < 7200 ft AGL

OR
Manual activation of the approach phase.

Only manual activation works on all 3.6

Re: JD320 Airliner ver 3.6 WIN/MAC 64 bit (X-Plane 11.50/11.41)

Make sure your avionics are turned on for the A320 before getting angry that the plane's systems aren't working.

I don't know if this is considered "common sense" or not, but I didn't even think to turn on the avionics before flying. I guess I thought that was something that just turned on automatically or something. I was having so many issues flying this thing especially with the autopilot and with other systems like the radio not working. So far everything is working well now since figuring out the avionics needed to be turned on manually.

Update: 2.17.2021:

I foolishly assumed when I wrote this that people would know to check their keyboard/joystick commands for "avionics on" and then work from there, but again, I was foolish to think that. Anyhow, I already gave a detailed explanation below, but I'll also put it here just in case. smile

"Hello,

Sorry that I didn’t see your question until today. You’ll need to assign a keyboard or joystick shortcut for “avionics on” in your settings for things to work for the current version. It fixed all of my issues.

I think for the most part the avionics were automatically turned on in the background as you did your normal cold & dark startup procedures, but for some reason the background process must've been "broken" with this current version hence the manual process is now needed. I was so frustrated with the issues I was having. I had the same issues you were having and my radios didn't work or anything. So frustrating to plan everything, then takeoff and have the plane keep doing steep climbs and doing that whole Afloor thing. Then it wouldn't follow the flight plan at all. It would just keep circling slowly. No more!

Every plane I've flown in the sim seems to also have all of that avionics stuff done in the background when I'm starting up so I never had to concern myself with the concept. I'm not sure why no clear documentation is available for this current issue, but luckily I found the solution.

More details if you want them:

Here's the link to how I found out the solution: https://forums.x-plane.org/index.php?/f … amp;page=2

The main topic was actually people having issues with the A330's systems, but it's essentially the same problems with the A320 and the fix works for both planes. It's user "Murrky" who gives the solution. He also gives instructions on how to make a LUA script to bind the "avionics on" function to when you start the batteries. That's what I ended up doing since I didn't want another keystroke to memorize or to take up another button on my flight stick.

I'm glad he posted that reply because all of the other recommendations were for overcomplicated joystick settings workarounds.

P.S.

Murrky calls it "master avionics on", but it's just "avionics on"

Hello, I have looked at the FAQ's to resolve this query but cannot find an answer. I have installed the latest update to the Windows version of the A320 but I cannot close the FMCG window which opens on start-up. When I try to the menu bar drops down and prevents this. Does anyone know of a solution please.

Happens with me too.  Solution is to go to your Graphics tab and choose full screen option.  Then move the FMC down. Once that is done, go back to "Windowed" But of a carry on, but works!

What "avionics" are you describing?  Is there a switch somewhere? Might explain the extreme difficulty I am having engaging the autopilot in the latest version.  Everything entered as before, V speeds performance etc etc.  Take off normal, but when try to engage autopiliot, no success, messages like "afloor" and large double chevrons on the pfd. Is there a written update on these new features?

Good day

In the meantime my A320 works again on X-Plane 11. I still have one problem: I can't set the altitude during the flight preparations. The switch in the cockpit can only be changed from 500 to 1000, but the altitude cannot be set. Can you help me further?

Many thanks and kind regards

I have the same problem. When I activate XEnviro the lower left MCDU popout window appears. It's not clickable or interactive in any way. I have opened a ticket on XEnviro but if some people here have the same problem maybe it's caused by JD320.
I don't have this issue on other aircrafts.

X-Plane 11.51r1 and Vulkan.

Should you delete the plane from the aircraft folder and install a fresh version when there's a new update, or just copy and paste over the old one?
