Flaps Stick not moving

I have loaded MCDU on the JARDesign A330 and ready to taxi to runway, I have tried to set the flaps to position 1 as required for takeoff, I try to move it with the mouse my cursor changes to a hand and when I put it on the stick the hand closes as if it's grabbing the stick but if I pull down nothing happens the Flaps stick won't move? Any ideas it wont let me taxi to the runway I get takeoff config message.
Any ideas? If I have posted in the wrong I apologise
