Re: Are you need X-Plane air/ground traffic?

JAR можно как либо пощупать X-Life, побыть бета-тостером так сказать?
У меня есть в наличии World Traffic от ClassicJetSims и опыт создания наземных путей в WED и AGRE.

Re: Are you need X-Plane air/ground traffic?

Re: Are you need X-Plane air/ground traffic?

smile cool! Where did you get the aircrafts from? You created them by yourself or are them the CSL aircrafts?

I saw an A340 Emirates big_smile

Re: Are you need X-Plane air/ground traffic?

Plugin can load and draw any aircraft what possible to find in users X-Plane folder. Now - read and load from OpenSceneryX folder, but may - any payware or freeware what installed at user harddrive.

Hi Eugeny,

tried to contact you via Skype regarding verification (for me: verification = test) of the current plugin concept.

Cheers,

Re: Are you need X-Plane air/ground traffic?

EDDL traffic looks really cool :-)

May it be possible to use only RWY 23L/05R for take off? Due to noise regulations RWY 23R/05L are used for take off only if RWY 23L/05R is blocked.

Re: Are you need X-Plane air/ground traffic?

Hmm.. it is easy to do, but i will try .. get.. need get this info about RW for TO from NavData... may be or use own description format. will see..

So, this AI will use ATC Taxi Line Tool in WED? Or like CJS World Traffic use something else?

Re: Are you need X-Plane air/ground traffic?

Use WED taxilines

The right long-term approach, since this can be expected for future airports coming from Laminar and 3rd party publishers.

I purchased many airports and according to the description here in this thread and the apt.dat file format specification(http://developer.x-plane.com/wp-content … 0-Spec.pdf) I see that X-Life won't work on airports without any row codes 1200, 1201 and 1202 right?

Any strategy how all already purchased and installed airports will work with X-Life? I hope it won't end in a very big effort of manually editing all my favorite airports.

An idea might be something like a X-Life cloud for airport's apt.dat files which could be referenced to get the needed airport taxi routes & networks like the tool EFASS does it for taxiway designators and performance profiles of aircraft. That is technically not too complicated but for sure development effort.

Cheers,
joomie

Re: Are you need X-Plane air/ground traffic?

Anyway X-Life read the same standart taxiroutes as FMCar, include 12xx lines. Now we start to build apt.dat's for european airports - payware and good-looking freeware. X-Life is a long story, but now this is always need for FMCar. As I see, the airport developers not do this job well, cause only a few numbers of plugins use this taxiroutes. I hope change this situation in future. But anyway - LR work on apt.dat format improvement and we need wait 10.50 to see result.

Will think about updates - i know several useful ways for this.

Re: Are you need X-Plane air/ground traffic?

Can't wait for this plugin to come out, still can't dump p3d forever 'cause of lack of AI traffic.

Re: Are you need X-Plane air/ground traffic?

Maybe a competitor sensitive question here, but what will be the difference between X Life and World Traffic 2?

72

Re: Are you need X-Plane air/ground traffic?

Well, I would also like to know that.

WT:
- One needs to create GroundRoutes if not already present at x-plane.org which is a pain of effort
- One can generate RouteFiles with a script at x-plane.org
- One needs to download Aircraft
- Using the ATC is a bit painful

X-Life:
- One needs to have the taxiroute network on the airport which is currently rarely the case
- ATC looks interesting and I hope, the frequency selected on the radios will be considered

JAR, do you plan to gather customers requirements to further analyse and sort them?

Cheers,
joomie

I dont know a difference. I just very interesting to make own smile But anyway, for this plugin, user (a pilot) should not care about any preparation. May be about sheduler if you want have custom instead of "autogenerate". And also, ATC module is absolutely need. Will see different at beta-tests stage smile
