Just before touch down your hear "Retard, retard". At that moment set the thrust levers to Idle.
After touch down you can use the speed brakes / ground spoilers and set the Reverse thrust. When you activate that, it will automatically go to max power.
So don't do anything with you thrust levers at that time, leave them on idle!
Below 70 kts. start using the normal (wheel)brakes instead of reverse thrust.

Re: ver 2.4 beta 4 WIN/MAC 64 bit

Good day,
If I can help, what kind of joystick, control's do you have ? first question, second you have to map you "reverse thrust" to work right and this can be done by using one of your throttle levers, and use one for you throttle instead of both levers for throttle ...

Nevertheless, this is why I asked the first question. on the drop-down list in the joy-stick setting look for "reverse thrust" or just "reverse" and and map that to one of your throttle controls and re-calabrate you joy-stick.

Re: ver 2.4 beta 4 WIN/MAC 64 bit

I found a bug.

I was initializing the aircraft just like certain low-coast companies here in my country do... they start the APU just before starting the engines and left the passagers cooking at cabin during the process (in a particular case the passagers initiate a rebelion, oppened the emergency doors and jumped off from the wings).

Everything was going ok, but accidentally I touched the stick button that turn the parking brakes off. When I did it the GPU disconnected automatically, I lost all power and the ADRs reseted (had to start the align again).

Re: ver 2.4 beta 4 WIN/MAC 64 bit

Okay ... May be not really connected to FBW, but to green brake system... When using toe brakes during Taxi with B4, you will have a response on the BCSU indicating around 1000 Psi on both brakes.

But when I understood Mike Ray right, the BCSU will just indicate park brake pressure ... not the pressure using toe brakes. Instead he outlines, that when you have brake pressure on BCSU while using toe brakes, this usually indicates a faulty system.

Re: ver 2.4 beta 4 WIN/MAC 64 bit

I found a crazy button between the PFD and ND.

However there is no real button^^
When you click it, all instruments are much brighter. I think it's nice but there should be a button big_smile

low brightness (normal): http://fs1.directupload.net/images/150717/temp/ltmhkmgp.png

after press the "button": http://fs1.directupload.net/images/150717/temp/6hoen6wh.png

You can find the button there where my mouse is.

Re: ver 2.4 beta 4 WIN/MAC 64 bit

This is just the shut off of the reflections texture. So there dont have to be a real button for that.

134

Re: ver 2.4 beta 4 WIN/MAC 64 bit

Yup, that's nothing new... Have a look in the manual wink

135

Re: ver 2.4 beta 4 WIN/MAC 64 bit

I never need the manual before ^^ Ok thank you big_smile

Sometimes when at the Gate & preparing for a flight, the GPU &  fuel truck will not activate.  Is this a known problem?

For info. . .

Parking brake ON->off->On brakes

Thanks dron - so much complexity and I miss the obvious!!

Re: ver 2.4 beta 4 WIN/MAC 64 bit

Hi, I have to say that I cannot smoothly land even in moderate windy conditions (>15-20kt) and with the autoland enabled (so I don't think the stick matters). At full flap config and 140 kt the bank oscillations amplify until going crazy and I cannot recover a steady attitude by hand flying the plane. I don't remember I had that with b2.3r4 version. Thanks.

Re: ver 2.4 beta 4 WIN/MAC 64 bit

Engines are too slow ... they should spin up/down faster ...

Due to that go arounds often do not work well. ..

Re: ver 2.4 beta 4 WIN/MAC 64 bit

I don't know if this a bug or not, but anycase an annoying item.

I'm talking about the transparency problem in the logos over the engines.
I'm talking about the engine plates. Whenever you put your logo on the engines, You can see throughout the logo shape and you can see the world.

It occurs because in blender when you originate the x-plane 'engines_plates' object does not appear the line  'ATTR_no_blend'
or appears the line 'ATTR_blend'

Solution: It's necessary to add that line into the x-plane 'engines_plates' object. This should be like this:

...
ATTR_shiny_rat     1.000
ATTR_no_blend
TRIS    0 1782

I hope this item will be fixed in the next update.

Thanks in advance.

Re: ver 2.4 beta 4 WIN/MAC 64 bit

Oh hey! That makes a lot of sense... Does it not leave you with any jagged looking textures either?

Nop.
It's just a transparency matter, eventhough We could say somehow there is an irregular texture subject, of course.

What do you mean with jagged looking textures? X-Plane it! LOL

Greetings.

Re: ver 2.4 beta 4 WIN/MAC 64 bit

You could also fix the Problem opening planemaker and the misc Objects menu. Then put the Engine_plates.obj below the Engines_NML.obj.
Save the 320 and everything should be fine

As in, sometimes if you kill the transparency from ATTR_blend textures can look a bit jagged if they aren't high quality.

Hi Hommer.

By the way, I think There's some  white or transparent dots and lines in the edges of the 3d cockpit model.
I like a lot the cockpit reflections, so...

The question: Does Anybody of you suffer from this issue and If so you do, Do you know how to solve this issue?

It's something dealing with the A320 Neo. and nothing to do with the A330 whose cockpit is just superb.

Thanks in advance.

"STD" on barometer should read "Std", not sure if this is a limitation.

Re: ver 2.4 beta 4 WIN/MAC 64 bit

I am still unable to preset a manual heading on the ground, or even on the runway (clearance: "fly runway heading..."); will this be fixed at some point?
Thx.
