ver 2.4 beta 4 WIN/MAC 64 bit
So, we back to 320 improvement after a long 330 session.

Plan is make v2.4 with tuned FBW and PFD, next v2.5 with improve FPLN and ND part. Also (it may be some 2.4 beta we will add some visual changes in cockpit, very cool changes).

What new beta4:
+fixed error for TRK mode PFD indication
+fixed SASL "out of memory" crash (please check)
+tune aircraft runway slide parameters (after realpilots tests and recommendations) during hard sidewind takeoff and landing
beta3:
+fixed "no sound"
+fixed "no flight control"
beta1:
+PFD tune
+FBW tune
+MCDU one step delete with CLR
+STAR RNAV approach draw fixed

HOW TO INSTALL:
  - be sure, what you use X-Plane 10.36 or later
  - copy unziped "320neo_JARDesign" folder to ..\X-Plane 10\Aircraft\ folder
  - start X-Plane 64 bit and open a320, activation window is show up
  - enter you serial key (Regcode), click NEXT and reopen aircraft via X-Plane menu
  - activation will work well with both MAC/WIN 64 bit

This is beta version for X-Plane 10 64 bit. "Beta" mean what some may work wrong.

Install and first start are fine. No crash after activating and reload.

is it possible to have the first STAR  waypoint displayed in the ND after DIR TO  instead of the  TD,red250.decel  ?     thank you  2.4b 4 is working  good

That is because on jardesign a320, pseudo points are processed as waypoints . Don't know if this was changed in the a330 fmgs, but would be nice if jar make some changes on this. This can cause many issues, for example, if for some reason you don't overfly the TC point, you will have some issues over all flight. I guess is the same for the other pseudo points.

For Airbus a320 wingflex are too much.
Slow them down a little bit.

I think I've seen above something dealing with 2.5 version and MCDU navigation improvements. I wish this thing was solved by them.

Good day,
Two flights with the V2.4B4 and no issues at all the performance of this aircraft is very good on the iMac 27" OS X 10.10.3 no CTD's and the Nav data I did up-date to 1506 version 2 from Navigraph.
Nevertheless, the frame rate is good going by JAR's indicator it is running 30 -+< 59/60 FPS
and going by the XP indicator the FR is running 0.019 CPU 0.017 GPU 0.013
The total size of loaded textures at current setting: 565.67 meg

A320_ver2.4beta4 WIN7-64, XP10.36, Navigraph 1506r2, XP and A320 navdata.
While trying to enter this test route, some of the the ND stopped working (the map froze, ie. did not update or appear to move), a number of strange artifacts appeard in the cockpit (strange writing) on the main panel and O/H panel.
The IAS tape and ALT readouts on the PFD stopped working even though the aircaft continued to fly and follow the programed route, just bits of it didn't work.
Also a number of traffic cones were flying in formation with the aircraft.
The Log.txt started to fill up and grew to over 46MB in size (I've attached a zipped copy).
There were thousands of pages with these SASL ERRORS:

Note I had been trying to enter Pilot Waypoints eg Lat/Long, but kepts getting "UNKNOWN POINT TYPE" messages each time I tried. Note I was using the correct format as described in the FMGS_Guide.pdf (page 458/703).  I then remembered there were some "named" waypoints I could use instead and so created a FlightPlan.txt file and loaded that, the first attempt resulted in an "ARR APT NOT FOUND IN AIRAC" message. Which I figured out was due to a "CRNL" characters at the end of the line after "KLAS" in the FlightPlan.txt. I removed these then re loaded the plan and this time the FMGS said loaded ok.

Some time during the take off roll I noticed the IAS display on the PFD was not increasing even though the voice callouts were still working. It was just after this I noticed that the ALT was not increasing and the ND map stopped moving.

The POSN on the INIT page of the FMGS was working, also note when I checked the X-Plane plugins info page, I think one of the A320's is missing?

Near the end of the flight, you can see the aircarft navigated itself around the programmed route quite well, it's just some of it stopped working as it should.

I was preparing for TO following the checklists .
Breaks set N1 at 50% chrono on then breaks off throttle to flex.
When I release the breaks the plane went into A.Floor (When I was still on the ground!)

Two things:

-With the new PFD the weather radar doesn't work at all (even in arc mode with 20 NM set)

- I made an ILS approach. When the radio altimeter became alive I set the GA altitude and did not clicked the Level switch or V/S switch: The approach button turned of and the aircraft started to climb. So I checked the approach button again and the landing continued.

2.4b4  xplane 10.36 win 7
Good flight, no real problems except couple of small ones, will need another flight to check.
Using RC4 and NOAA.
On starting mode to ign and starting #2, the lower ecam starting flicking between eng and hyd very rapid and
couldn't engage any other ecam.  Came right after #1 was started.

At FL370 wind 69kt tailwind a little bit off turb and the ailerons were going mad and speed dropped to .73 mach should have been .77, did eventually climb back to .77  Wing flex was not shaking very much.

ILS into RJTT rwy 34R and around 700 ft, lost the C/S indicator on the PFD and did manual landing, it just vanished, followed all the way down nicely and then puff - gone.

The fire tests - bells - work even with no power on the aircraft, fully dark and cold.

Other wise all ok.

May be, you set hi altitude via alt button first.

No big problems and no crashes with the new 2.4 beta 4. I only do Warm & Light by the way.

Did some short flights like KATLKMCO. Just the usual suboptimal stuff with the FMGS, like virtual waypoints and cutting the ILS short by leaving out 2 or 3 fixes. Also ALT Constraints like AT 11000 end up as *10663 in the flight plan.

E.G.
The ILS into KATL27R with 1506r2 Navigraph cycle. The flightplan of the A320neo does not include YOUYU MAASN MMCAP and it should ...

Not so lucky this time on a flight from KSEA to KSFO. On my way to MLBEC, I got all kinds of lines on the ND and the FMS turned up empty. The whole flightplan in the FMS was gone, but there were multiple routes on the ND. I chose to abort the flight. The only thing I did was trying to insert a waypoint that Flightaware mentioned as a vital part of the route.

Had a lovely flight from MKJP to MUHA just yet with 2.4 b4.
System Win 7PRO 64Bit, 32GigRam.
FMC worked as it should and flew a buttersmooth handflown approach into Habana RW06.

After takeoff PDF don't display green dot for retract flaps, but after retract flaps this green dot is showed.

Lower all settings to minimum - CTD not enough memory.
Tried with no plugins - CTD
Long and short it doesn't work.

HI Daniel, which A320 Version where you using as your Log.txt had this line in it?

SASL INFO: "mcdu_acstat"    version infover.2.4b1 20.05.15

Which appears to say you were using an old Version 2.4b1 20.05.15 and not the latest Ver 2.4Beta4.
As my Log.txt using the latest version says:

SASL INFO: "mcdu_acstat"    version infover.2.4b4 28.05.15

If you still have a problem when you use the latest version (2.4b4) , what navdata are you using?

Had a few flights today, mainly circuits below 9000ft each being about 3/4 hour duration.
No problems showed up..

Weather radar does not show weather for me either.
Sat in the middle of the field with servere thunderstorms, heavy rain.
Didn't need lighting in the cockpit it was that strong.

Radar on, range set at 20 miles, knobs turned auto/strong, level to high beam.
Before the beta it worked fine for me no problem.

For me it's working fine instead. Remember to set the wx switch on.

Sorry, in the last version (2.3) PFD indicate a flap retract speed (F) and slats retract speed (S).
