oh that's interesting!!! I have a JAR and FlightFactor folder... oh well, will movie them out... thanks smile

Please let me/us know if this is the solution to that problem (after completing some [long haul] flights). I'm currently only flying the A320 and over the last couple of weeks I didn't experience that teleportation bug with the A320.

Hello Jar thanks current update seems to be a bit stable, did a normal 9 hrs flight. it will be cool if we had General Electric engines implemented to the aircraft. Thanks

Just had a window appear to update my A330, but I already have... I clicked on LINK and Windows 10 asked me to select an app to use to open the LINK... looks like the LINK url seems to start with HHTP...? Going to ignore anyway...

Same here.

Would help if I could find anything in the A330 folder that shows the version number....    but I too just downloaded the 2.2 RC1 from this forum so it's definitely the latest version.

Will not activate (manually or automatically) and lot's of red SASL error messages on screen.

The usual nightmare trying to activate these products it seems.     I paid $61 for the A330 and another $20 yesterday for the XP11 upgrade and just cannot get this thing activated, despite following all instructions.

Thanks.  So I'm definitely on v2.2 rc1.     But cannot for the life of me get this thing activated.   Just SASL errors and the activation window constantly popping up, even though I've activated manually using the SASL website, and downloaded aircraft.key file.

Wasted around 5 hours on this today.

Re: JD330 Airliner ver 2.2 RC1, R2 WIN/MAC 64 bit (X-Plane 11)

Out of curiosity. Do I have to delete my current version (V2.1R1) of the A330 and then install the new one (2.2 RC1) by unzipping the folder or can I just unzip it and choose to overwrite my current version (V2.1R1)?

I am low on activations so I would like to do it as smooth as possible big_smile

There is no need to activate anything on the SASL Web site.
I recommend you move the current A330 folder out of X-Plane and download the latest version (v2.2rc1) from wherever you bought it originally (if you bought both v1 and v2 make sure you download v2. Then start up XP with the new A330 and activate it by putting your v2 license key into the popup box. If it goes through quit X-Plane and restart it again.
If there is a problem with your license key open a ticket with JAR Design support.

When doing a full on autolanding Autobrakes and Spoilers dont activate (they were armed & set to MED). And co-pilot doesnt say "DECEL".

(Yes everything was correctly configured I am very familiar with the A330)

IMPORTANT!

For those who have the teleport issue, the problem is not with the Airplane. The problem is caused by scenarios that you may have that are only compatible with X-Plane 10. If you remove those, the issue does not occur anymore.

No that I know of. And even if so, what would (for example) a corrupt european scenery have to do with a bug that occurs in the Bali region? As far as I know Xplane 11 doesnt have all scenery loaded at the same time, only those in close proximity.

I think the problem is related to not having the JAR A330 folder in the root "Aircraft" folder. I had my A330 in a folder named "JARDesign" and since moving it out of there and into the X-Plane 11/Aircraft (root) folder I have not had this problem...

Re: JD330 Airliner ver 2.2 RC1, R2 WIN/MAC 64 bit (X-Plane 11)

Just tried a 9+ hour flight.  On arrival, updated winds in the "perf" page for arrival into LFPG.  Then, blue circle appeared and I was teleported to E46.  No XP10 situations, running XP11, and 330 folder is in aircraft folder.  First time this happened with me but the above information are not solutions.  This problem has been widely reported and hopefully Mr. JAR can find what is causing it.  Another X-Plane long haul down the tubes :-(

aaah well that obviously disperses that myth then. thanks for letting us know. I am going to be scared to take any flights in the 330 now!!! we need to find out if this is happening to any other aircraft next...

Re: JD330 Airliner ver 2.2 RC1, R2 WIN/MAC 64 bit (X-Plane 11)

Just in time JAR came out with the announcement about the new FMGS (MCDU, AP, FMS, screen MAP, MCDU screen widget e.t.c.) !
This will probably solve incompatibilities concerning the MCDU functioning, like not identifying ILS approach although all data was input into MCDU correctly etc...

The other thing I want to mention and hopefully bring to end of useless discussions is the fact that the speedbrakes of the A330 are functioning during all flight phases ! I will show you this in a video I will made soon for all one who doubts....

Also the E46 problem is factually an X-Plane problem and has to do with XP11 maps installation and custom sceneries add-ons. Organizing the "Custom Scenery) folder as it should be can be a solution....

Here my video about speedbrakes, hope tis ends the laborious discussions...

Re: JD330 Airliner ver 2.2 RC1, R2 WIN/MAC 64 bit (X-Plane 11)

Hello,
Last Sunday, as I was flying between CYUL and TFFR, the plane has been teleported (E46). I had reported the bug to Laminars's team, and I send you their answer:

Most likely a key or button has accidentally been assigned to a flight reset command (most likely the dirt field takeoff). We are adding a confirmation warning when any of these commands are used in 11.10 so that you won’t accidentally move due to a mistaken assignment.

Thanks,

I got the same response and promptly told Jennifer that I did not have any assignments made to reset the flight.  She never answered back.  Just FYI..........

Re: JD330 Airliner ver 2.2 RC1, R2 WIN/MAC 64 bit (X-Plane 11)

Hi I am having an issue where the right engines EGT value is way lower than the left engine. The right engine then is always lagging behind with the thrust and fuel consumption.
If I go to TOGA and disconnect ATHR the thrust seems to catch up, but not the EGT (but then the right engine N1 goes into the "red zone" while in toga).

This is always for the start of the flight to the end of the flight it doesnt just suddenly "happen".
It seems to happen the most when taking off from WSSS.

Any Help/Ideas?

You should tell how you use your thrust levers (Saitek or on Keyboard...). Maybe you have to calibrate throttle.....

I initially discarded that idea because my 2 throttle levers were calibrated and working just fine when using any other plane (saitek rhino x56)
But out of curiosity I just tried it again with only one lever set to the general throttle instead of throttle 1&2 seperately and that immediately fixed it for the A330.

Thank you for the quick go around solution.

to JARDesign: It would be nice if both engines could be controlled independently..

The Bug is still there, even after assigning only 1 axis to the throttle.

The Left engine EGT went even lower to "340Celsius" during CRZ (the pic was during climb) while the right engine remained at 510ish

Aaaaaaaaaaand I was teleported to e46 during Descent.

P.S

The "tp to e46" bug only appears to happen to me when the "unequal engine" bug is present during the flight.

Re: JD330 Airliner ver 2.2 RC1, R2 WIN/MAC 64 bit (X-Plane 11)

Utilizing Windows on a Mac can be extremely valuable. Let's be honest, having the two most well known working frameworks on one machine appears like a blessing from heaven. This tricky shared trait is that they either didn't have the correct variant of Windows, and/or they had the wrong transitional program to run Windows. You, be that as it may, are keen, since you are looking for help to move the correct way; enable which you to have found. What are Your Reasons for Using Windows on a Mac? With regards to running Windows on a Mac it regards look at the reason is for needing or expecting to do as such. Why you utilize Windows on Mac is as essential as how you utilize Windows on Mac. It could be for example, that you have to utilize certain projects that exclusive work on Windows, for example, amusements. Also, with regards to diversion playing you will need to make certain that you pick a the correct form of Windows and programming that runs it.
