CTD while flying from EGNT to EGPE. This happen with X-Plane 10.51r1 just before turning to the final approach for rwy 23 at EGPE.

CTD while flying from EGBB to EGPE, using X-Life 1.1r5 and X-Plane 10.51r1. This occurred about 60 nm from EGPE and before decent to 4,000 feet.

First or all I am glad to hear your voice again.

I heard that you are working on a new Airbus model, but I would like to know if you are continuing to develop the A320/330 more into deep with new capabilities? Same question about X-Life because I don't see any further airports on your map. Concerning XP 11 traffic and ATC, I think that LR is far from developing something that can defeat your software. So we are expecting more development even if we have to pay for it - lets say - professional edition of your aircraft models. I think that most user will agree with me on this point....

Right Now we work on a320 update with new P&W engines 3D model (switchable) and some cockpit details improvement. This will be nearest future. Sure we work hard on 319 and 340. As all other we want to understand the situation with XP11 and need get it for tests. I feel, like usually, we will "fix" some to make products 100% compatible with new XP11. The same situation with traffic. Need test first to understand how much (or nothing need) changes need perform to make it compatible. Will see. If X-Life will waiting by people for XP11 too, i plan to improve it traffic and ATC part both.

Hi all,
Trying to catch up on all Beta and releases since being MIA for awhile. I did a complete new build with the latest technology for my new x-plane dedicated computer. Just about done updating windows, planes etc, etc...also downloaded the digital version of x-plane in order to have a go with the new 11 version.
So far with the a320, I've got ALL third party sounds working...finally. I may have in the past and old puter not config it 100%, but now its puuurfecto!
Have done a little experimenting with x-life, and again, nice-no problems..but that was on my ssd drive with the cd release of xplane. However, I put the new digital version on my new hard drive and am almost ready to try x-life there.
But first, I'm checking the forum here for any updates, etc.
btw, my new system:
i7 6700k @ 4.4-4.8 completely air cooled with BeQuiet fans, BeQuiet Dark Rock CPU Cooler (and BeQuiet power 850w)
Asus z170 Deluxe Motherboard
Corsair Vengeance, 32gb 3000
Samsung 850Evo SSD 500gb
2tb Toshiba HD ULK
GTX 980ti G1Gaming (practically the same specs as the 10xx release, so I'm waiting for a Ti version )
in a FractalDesign R5 case

Am also on list to beta test Oculus Rift plugin for xplane 11
Incidentally, Ben had mentioned somewhere on his developer site (or the video from Cosford UK below) http://developer.x-plane.com/2016/10/th … -up-to-11/ that most (or all!) 3rd party ac should have no problems and also benefit from the new shiny textures that are implemented. Unless this quote from there means no, not yet:

"In v11, ATTR_shiny_rat controls the glossiness/roughness parameter. I do not know if we will have an ATTRibute way to control the metalness parameter".

Anyway, real excited at all the progress coming from x plane, JAR and the whole community. Very positive. Let's keep it Positive and any criticism, Constructive Criticism!

Eugeny, X-Life is really a very very cool plugin.
So much details now. Lighting, sound, flight controls and landing gears, pushback trucks...Best non-aircraft plugin!

The X-Life, Ground Handling, FMCar and Tugmaster customers in the case of release of new version for X-Plane 11, will be able to use the new version at no extra cost and can activate the product by using the existing serial key(s).

Thanks for your reports - I save it and use for debugging.

I read what XP11 will have traffic. if LR do the same job as me - ho! ho! They are great crew

I saw a rather strange event on fold on a AI flight coming into land from the (Tower View), I saw a X-Life flight on final approach and below coupled to that plane was the XP default McDonnell Douglas KC-10, but facing the opposite direction of flight, then upon reaching the runway threshold the KC-10 disappeared and the flight landed normally. I also observed to the horizon a plane (stuck) inflight.
I’m using the XP default scenery, the only add-on or plugin I have installed is X-Life Deluxe.
Excuse me if this is a known bug or if something that was discuss before.

This was observed at MKJS

It may be a bit off tzopic, but there is no other subforum below X-Life open for general discussion.
There is the "Airport Details Editor".

1)
I suggest, that the menu
"Plugins -> X-Life -> Tools -> Gates Editor" will be renamed to
"Plugins -> X-Life -> Tools -> Airport Details"

2)
The Airport Details Editor has a tab "RADIO" to set the frequencies. MAy someone can help. I tried to get the frequencies for EDDT (Berlin Tegel) which look like that:

But where do I find the following frequencies?

Approach
Center
Departure

I know, that sometimes on some airports one does not have all of the frequencies. Should I leave these fields blank in the editor? What do you do?

And does anybody know, what the "O/R" in above list means?

I read about some new airports ready for use with X-Life that are not on your XL map. If possible can you please add them to get a greater various of flight targets?

There is an uncertainty about keeping on the development of X-Life (that I think is one of the great ad-ons for X-Plane). Can you please give us some further information....

A few days ago, we check and add 2 new supported sceneries files. Do i need to make instant news about added airports? This is easy I think. Sure, I check and add ALL dat files what I get from developers (if developers want this, sure). Sadly, in many times .dat files autors not contact me via skype j.a.romanov (this is 100% need, cause anytime some details should be discussed, checked and fixed).

Sure, I just wait to see what kind of traffic we will get with XP11. If it will be better when XLIFE - hmm.. I dont know, but this can kill project. But while we wait news, i believe in better and a day ago i prepare a next version with reworked logic or arrival and departures for some kinds of airports (some special for 1 runway airport with 1 connected runway), and some crashes fixes. This is 1.1r6 and if you use previous release, you can change only .xpl files what attached here.

Is it possible to have a larger tolerance on the warning that the speed has gone above 250 knots? The speed needs to be just slightly over and the warnings are continuous. I'm sure in real life planes may go over the 250 knots momentarily, but don't receive a warning from ATC.

Re: v1.1r5 and r6 and QNH 1013 being required.

On most of my flights between NZCH and NZAA the METAR and ATIS reported that the QNH was (on last flight) 1009. Yet X-Life required that I change this to 1013 before I could get my flight clearance. Why does the last two releases i.e. r5 and r6 require me to set a QNH for departure that is different to what is displayed in the ATIS? The log does not indicate any errors but there is a discrepancy between the X-Life ATIS reported QNH and what the controller says is the correct QNH.
