I just prepared a second takeoff and recorded it on video. Be so kind and have a look at it and tell us, what I missed, please:

You're absolutely right, the T. O. INHIBIT message should not appear, when I beta test the aircraft.

installed A330 to xplane 11 folder, but I am unable to activate it. I followed steps in order to find out if the three things listed for help might have been the cause, but still nothing pops up. not hearing 3d sounds either. just standard sounds. can anyone help with this issue ?

Re: v.2.0b1,b2,b3,b4,b5,b6,b7,b8,b9 for X-Plane 11 (Windows, MAC OS)

I'm having problems getting the correct course for an ILS approach. I set the landing runway in the MCDU but when setting up the landing the ILS frequency is correct but the course is wrong. It cannot be changed either on the MCDU radio page or the radio stack. I've tried setting the ILS frequency on VOR 1 on the MCDU and sometimes the correct course appears automatically. ( But that's VOR 1. not the ILS. ) Strangely, the ILS course on the MCDU radio page changes as you get nearer the arrival airport, but it's never correct.
Generally the ILS approach works and everything lines up, even though the course is wrong.
I know J.A.R has been in contact with Laminar, but I'm wondering if anybody else is having the same problem.
This is in X-Plane 11b9 and the A330b4.

Re: v.2.0b1,b2,b3,b4,b5,b6,b7,b8,b9 for X-Plane 11 (Windows, MAC OS)

I found an issue I seem to have with other planes, too. The autopilot system has trouble keeping the altitude and speed. The plane goes up and down by approx. 50ft and the autothrottle increases and decreases the speed all the time. Seems not to be a correct behaviour. Tested it on a flight from KCLT to KPHL, CRZ Lvl was FL370.

Furthermore the TCAS system acustic warning was missing when flying with AI traffic, even though I was in TA/RA mode. I see the visual traffic warnings on the ND but the sounds were missing. These were just some impressions from my 1st flight with the Beta 4 Airbus on pb9. Let's see where this is going to.

TO Inhibit and LDG Inhibit messages are absolutely correct during those phases of flight. It just means non critical warning and caution messages are disabled. In other words if during take off you see an ECAM warning it will be a critical one for your take off.

T.O. INHIBIT has 2 important functions
1. BELOW 100 kts ("low speed") Captain Seriously consider an RTO for any ECAM warning or caution.
2. During take-off (Captain decision to continue TO) ECAM system inhibits non-relevant warnings and cautions during the high speed regime. (they certainly can become relevant after reaching 1500 ft ! - Airbus doc)

Question is what impact has this warning flying the JAR A330 model.
I experienced this warning before take-off and decided to continue TO. Then I got problems with the AT (was not activated) and had to made some steps to gain control over speed (speed claimed  quickly to red over 300kt....)

RE post above about ILS course.

I have seen that the ILS course on the RAD/NAV page is the aircraft's course at that time, not the published ILS course for the runway selected.

This is an bug.

Thanks

Thanks for that contribution. Will also read according FCOM sections to understand the whole topic when I find the time.
What do these messages have to do with an (at least for me) unintended automatic activation of the approach phase shortly after getting airborne? I know this behaviour in both A320neo & A330 products from many flights, where I just wanted to fly manually around any interesting airport. It's a bit weird to take off and getting that announcement when (often) still being on the take off runway track.

OK I'm having a problem with Idle on the grnd. My joysticks is at idle and I see the throttle on the airplane all the way down. Also the livery I selected is not showing on Xplane11. Both the Azul and the other one.

All my 85 installed liveries work except the engine cores. When the fans are turning you can look through the nacelle from front to the rear as it was empty.

Have not checked the lever position when moving joystick in detail. Aircraft behaves normal when taxiing on ground so far.
This all with v2.0b4.

Yes I do know that it's a beta tester site. I do not get the same reflections in XP 10 so I assumed it's only the XP 11 Beta version I`m getting the reflection from the pedestal in the cockpit window. Hence BETA.
