So.. a320 for X-Plane 11.50 version 3.5 public beta
This version get new/updated FMGS, like JD330

WHAT NEW:
b2:
+ X-Plane 11.50 compatible
+ X-Plane 11.41 compatible

To be clear - this is not new version with new features, but just updated to be compatible with X-Plane 11.50 with Metal/Vulcan

HOW TO INSTALL:
  - Please not mix files with other version.
  - make sure, that you use X-Plane 11.41-11.50
  - copy unziped "320_JARDesign" folder to ..\X-Plane 11\Aircraft\ folder
    (make sure you don't use nonEnglish symbols in aircraft's installation path)
  - start X-Plane 64 bit and open a320, activation window will pop up
  - enter your serial key (Regcode), click NEXT and after a successful activation reopen the aircraft via X-Plane menu
  - activation works well with both MAC/WIN 64 bit

If activation window not appear, there is 3 reasons may be for this -
- Check what you use computer under Admin mode.
- You use Windows 7 or 8 or 10. In this case, please install "Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable 2010" pack http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download … x?id=14632 , and also install more fresh JAVA.
- One of your installed X-Plane plugin (like SeaTraffic) can block activation windows. You can temporary remove your plugins one-by-one and check is activation window appear. Another (faster) way you can use - load Cessna 172, open X-Plane Menu->Plugins->Plugin Admin to disable ALL plugins, next - load JD320/330.

UPDATE YOU NAV DATA WITH FRESH CYCLE (if needed)
If you need to update your cycle, please use Aerosoft/Navigraph
- “JARDesign 330/330 Native format”
and put a new cycle to ../X-PLANE 11/Custom Data/GNS430/navdata/ folder
(create it if need)

thanks for the quick update.

When i get into the aircraft and i hit GPU to get external power I get the following error  'pipeline must not be null ptr'. This only happens when Vulkan is enabled.

Any idea why?

if you start the plane with the APU its fine. So you can use the plane in Vulkan, but you can't use the GPU

Getting " pipeline must not be null ptr" right when trying to load A320 neo and hard x-plane crash. Running 11.50b2 with AMD card and Vulkan.

The "pipeline must not be null ptr" error appears directly after activating the GPU or other ground handling activities. The same while trying to set the fuel (because the fuel truck is active too).

Thanks for the update.
But honestly - why is it the only plane so taxing (fps etc) even with Vulcan - you do need to do something about this?

Beta 3 is out now, so the crashes should not occur anymore
Beta 3

    Fixed crash at launch with Linux + Vulkan.
    Fixed null pipeline with third party aircraft using custom lights.

With me it's just the opposite - FPS have increased. And memory usage is lower.
Also, i like toolbar in this version is VISIBLE by default and i don't have to turn it on every time.

thank you for the update to v3.5b2. The plane works very well, only the announcements of the checklists are spoken far too slowly. Please change this with the next update.

I have the old menu button 'M' back - I wonder why? The a330 XP11.50 update still shows the usual green GPU etc. Did something go wrong?? It's odd to see this again after all this time. Thanks.

See the settingspage in the MCDU. You can turn it off there.

Ah, I'll look. Thanks. However, the M button keeps reappearing of its own accord. I had the onscreen green GPU earlier.. in the middle of preparing the a/c, the 'M' is back again, of its own accord (haven't even been in to the FMC yet).

Since JarDesign is the only avionics company that has updated its aircraft for the 11.50b, it was close for me to activate the A320 neo.
So first of all I updated the X-Plane 11 to 11.50b3. I don't want to say anything about that here...
I started the A320 neo, did everything that is necessary with such a bus and off we went. After the take off the landing gear was put in and then the AP was activated. This was also confirmed by the callout, but it has no effect. In one word: AP is not working. Neither with 11.50 nor with 11.41.
Now I've been doing all kinds of things for ages that you can do in such a case: The default Cessna loaded, then the A320 neo. Reinstalled and updated the A320 neo. Etc., etc. ...
The default planes have no problems with the AP.
Do you have an idea what else I could do?

Thank you for this update but I have the problem, that the ND, Pdf and the MCDU are flickering. Are there any known solutions for this problem?

I had this question to Eugeniy. The answer was that it converts from inHG to hPa. This issue is migrated from old versions. I don't know why it could not be as it should:(
I hope someday it will also fixed.
JD team doing their best to improve their products. They introduced first A320 for XP11. Now they first updated their aircraft for 11.50.

A had a problem with auto throttle.

On a flight after level-off, the auto pilot swiches off, reason??
After swiching the auto pilot back on, the auto throttle won't hold his speed setting.
It made no difference what i do, the auto throttle won't hold speed.

Throttle handel setting was in the "CL" position, the auto throttle light was green, speed setting on 200 knots.
Flaps up, no spoilers, gears up.

Is this a bug or is there a explanation for this?

I run XP 11.50b4.
