Had a flawless flight yesterday from KATL to EDDF. Fuel consumption was close to Simbrief predictions. I still like the A330 a lot. Its not perfect but getting better and better. Considering the SSG747 problems with the new update making the plane unflyable there are for me no alternatives for long haul flights.  If I can make a wish, I hope for a vr config  file and better usability of the cockpit buttons in Vr. Otherwise looks very good inside the cockpit in Vr.

Why can't values be entered by typing them in or press and hold to increase payload/fuel levels etc? Chronic finger cramp set in when I had to add fuel for a 7.5hr flight across the pond (not that I got there - more to come).

-Radio Stack Knobs/Similiar Knobs-
  - Especially when flying on Vatsim, it can be a real pain to tune a frequency- Can this be changed to scroll-wheel adjust? Allow
     the user to easily and quickly change to a frequency - the heading select etc are scroll-wheel and much more user-friendly.

- Transponder Knob - very similar to above, can be difficult to select squawk code due to the way the clicker is set-up.

-CLMB MODE-
There appears to be a bug with adjusting the throttles from TOGA to CLMB MODE. As i can see from comments above, there is a workaround so i would assume this will have already been looked at for the next update.

I would like to request JD A330 developers please add EFB. Almost all flights in X-Plane 11 aircrafts have this options, even freeware Zibo also provided.

Please think about it.

i just updated to the r2. AC loads and after activation sim crashes. now always crashes when loading into the plane. r1 was not satisfying, too. older version 3.2r4 is not available anymore (will download 3.3r2). pls make 3.2r4 available as it was the best version for me. latest version is not usable atm.

I see i am not the only one having problems
Is JDA330 not compatible with XP 11.41?
After activation, the sim just crashed for me too and no longer is loading

If i downloaded the one from Aerosoft, the activation window wouldn't show up so i downloaded this one from here instead.
I used the serial key from Aerosoft.

Today 4 febr 2020 We are faced with the massive problem of the inability to activate the aircraft (crash after activation) - both for JD320 and JD330. We contacteded to the server owner (owner of SASL activation server is a Flight Factor, may be you know) and are waiting for a solution. I apologize and I hope that the situation will be resolved today or tomorrow. Until then, please refrain from installing updates. Sorry again!

Hello, I am contacting you due to the big problem you are currently facing. I have the same problem since yesterday, I reinstall xp11 to have a clean game base, after I install the JD330XP11 V A330 3.2R1 only, my crash, the problem is the same on A320, I wish you help by giving you my crash report, I am running W10 64 bit with all my drivers up to date, here is my configuration W10 64-bit intel core i7-6700k CPU @ 4.00Ghz, 16GB RAM, AMD Radeon R9 390 Serie V 20.1. 4 ,

Activation issue resolved. You can install / update JARDesign 320 and 330 again. The problem was related to the failure of the SASL activation server. We apologize for the inconvenience. If crash - need manually delete aircraft.key file and reactivate aircraft.

Пожалуйста попробуйте вначале вручную удалить файл aircraft.key из папки самолета.

Purchased last night, activated and flew just fine on the latest version of XP11.

Anyone having trouble should delete the installation and reinstall completely fresh I guess.

Having the same problem as Jed.....I can put 8 hours of fuel in the plane and by the time i taxi to the runway the plane shuts down, i am out of fuel.  Happens on the 320 and 330.

hahahha that's so funny how J.A Romanov doesn't reply when is about serious programming flaws in the flight management.
This product is good and with a bit of fine tuning from the developing team it could be seriously improving and become a "professional" plane.
Though it seams that they're not interested in listening to most advance users :-(( it's very sad but this is why I'm only buying Flight Factor products from now on.

With regards to the sudden nose dives, I have seen this behavior before with managed descent between altitude restrictions.  The 330 will command a sudden nose dive to reach a restriction on the STAR and it completely disregards the speed and rate of descent to make the restriction.  The speed will increase greatly and this normally happens at lower altitudes.  With regards to the sudden engine surge, I have not seen that before.  There was no reason for the 330 to begin to increase the speed with the auto throttle engaged during the final approach phase of landing.  The performance/landing data had been correctly entered and the approach phase had been activated.

I've just bought the acft and I'm so disapointed... I've experienced the same issue here, the plane dives suddenly at turns, the engines spool up for no reason when they were expected to spool down to get to the managed speed. I'm also getting a pink windshield if I turn ON the rain effects. The Load and Fuel chart is really annoying because we have to click several times to reach our desired weight. This is a beautiful acft, it is a pity that we have many complaints about several insistent bugs, and none of them were adressed yet

Curiously , when programming correctly a flight , aircraft has not such a behaviour …

I experienced several issues on vertical path, straight forward and more dramatically in turns. The speed management takes cost index in account, so the higher the CI is the most sharp the dive will be. One major consequence is that you are closer to Vne and upper speed limit of the envelope protection (the green = is missing on display, on Airbus it indicates the max speed)

The Airbus literature warns real pilots on managed mode. On selected mode, A/T step backward to IDDLE and the speed is driven by pitch, you chose your v/s to follow your vertical path. So reading FCOM and Airbus magazine might be helpful. We had a flight J.A. Romanov and I together where we figured out these kind of issue. I guess he is working on FMGC/S laws to improve behavior in these cases.

Hi,im having some serious issues uploading a flight plan to this aircraft,im actually getting frustraded already.
The airac is up to date,i dont have any issues with the ffa320/zibo etc etc its only with this aircraft.
I use simbrief and I tried different routes and keeps saying "MISSED ARR APT" when its not that its always something else..like how do I even import a flight plan now because now im completely lost.

In  simbrief I download the flight plan for JAR Airbus (format .txt) at the bottom of the page . Then I copy it in the flight plans folder of The JAR A320/330 . After I enter the coroute (ddddaaaa) .
And … no problem …

I'm using Aerosoft PFPX and copying the ATC route from my briefing package into a txt file, still getting segment errors despite having valid AIRAC installed, and manually entering the route has no issues. It's a long route so it's just a pain to entire every airway and waypoint.

Will try SB and see if it gives a similar route.
